I go out of my way to get this Chinese food all the time. I’m 25 minutes away from this Chinese place but the food is to die for. They give amazing portions and for cheap amount! I’ve been going to this Chinese restaurant since I was about 15 and I’m 21 now. Best. Place. EVER!

So I was in New Monmouth Mall on 6/20/23 & my boyfriend & I decided to eat food from Master Wok. So we ordered one dish to be shared by both of us & I asked the server for a plate so we can share the food. The server replied that she didn't have any plates. Then I asked her again. She then gave me a plate. My boyfriend asked for a cup & she said they didn't have any.She was RUDE & SHE RUSHED ME. I won't go back there. She needed help because the line was long & she was the only one serving the food. We were there at about 1:00 PM.I do not accept rudeness in any restaurant. I just will not go back there again. It's pretty sad that people that work in a restaurant are rude & not kind. Guess they don't want my business again.Meris B.

Just waiting for it to all come back up and I know it will. Had Lo Mein, BBQ chicken and pork. All food was lukewarm, which is a terrible sign for buffet style food, as regulations specify that buffet food MUST be served at a certain temperature or it will become infected with bacteria causing food poisoning, which I certainly felt like I had from the moment that I left the food court. Only ate a partial amount and tossed the rest.Chicken was fatty, and the pork was as hard as a rock. Lo Mein may have been decent if it were served hot. Place has been here for many years, and I've eaten here quite a few times. It was never great, but as empty as the mall is known to be these days, it's obvious that the food stations just sit there for hours. It was really nasty and I will never go back. In all honesty, the whole court should just close. It's not needed or necessary, anymore.

Kung Pao chicken dish had huge hunks of celery and no peanuts. I know times are hard but let’s please not start substituting fillers for the real recipe. Fried rice is bland. I was disappointed.

Not as cheap as it once was, but still pretty good portion to price ratio

Food is good but be sure to know what you want very quickly. If you take too much time, they will simply move along to the next customer. Rude and rushed.

Update as of 2022:Seems like this place used to be a good value, but they have raised all their prices by $2+.I.E. - 1, 2, or 3 entree combos with side of rice/lo mein are now $8.29, $9.29, and $10.29, respectively.I ordered a 3 entree combo and then had to watch as the server filled the entire container (yes, the whole thing, all three sections) with my side, lo mein. Uuhhhh....I decided to see if they'd pile the entrees on a well. Nope. Got a measly scoop of each chosen entrees, and now have a meal that is 75% noodles and 25% the entrees I actually wanted. Yeah, no thanks. All that aside, however, the chinese food was so sub-par ?You know its bad when even Panda Express is both cheaper and tastier.Would never come here again.

This has been a favorite place of mine for a very long time grateful they’re still open

I loooove their orange chicken and the bourbon chicken is good too. Can’t beat two sides with fried rice or lo mein for $7.84 total.

A great chubby asian boy served me named Jackie, he might be the best server I have ever met, so nice.
