I discoverd Mauka by mistake, a dear friend of mine and a traveled foodie have been here twice and both time this place has been outstanding relative to food & service, so much so, that the 1st time I took the owners business card and called him to express my sentiments on the great experience we had. Fast foward we were there on 7/14, had another excellent experience, so much so, that the waiter must have overheard me mentioning the owners name, and must had thought we were complaining, we'll it was me praising the food and the owner came over wanting to know if everything was OK? And sure was, keep up the good work Mr.Nadir and thank you!
Went for the buffet on Sunday and was disappointed with the options available. Overhyped buffet, especially for vegetarians. Starters included Pani Puri (1/5) and Dahi Bhalle (3/5). Desserts had Kheer and Gajar Halwa, which I didn’t even touch. Main course options were also fewer compared to the non-veg dishes. Overall, I would say it’s just an average buffet.

This restaurant is exquisite. Food, service great in nice upper casual atmosphere. Appetizers and mains great, never had a mediocre meal, always great. My usual is mango lassi. (Indian) chicken hot and sour soup. Chicken charminar (sp) appy. Chicken or lamb Korma, peshwari naan. Last night had to mix it up and got lamb bhuta (sp) fantastic. My nephew always gets chicken tikki masala, super solid ( I get the leftovers).
