Just great food and friendly staff. Love it here
Delicious food and everyone there is so friendly.
Delicious food. What a great place to celebrate my 50th. Food and service was great!!!!
The food was delicious especially the scallops & pasta, short ribs & lamb shanks were so refer they literally fell off the bone. We will come back soon to try the other dishes of Mediterranean.
Delicious food, great service and gorgeous location!! Can't wait to go back!!!
Everything was delicious. Our enthusiastic waiter made some recommendations that did not disappoint. We shared the mixed spreads appetizer and saganaki. My husband had the traditional lemon chicken soup which was great. Our entrees included scallops with polenta, lamb chops, and chicken kebabs cooked to perfection. The food presentation was exceptional and the side dishes were good, too. This restaurant is spacious and not noisy. Will definitely return.
Wow this lovely Mediterranean Greek inspired cuisine is enhanced only by the beautiful décor lovingly done by George and Diana, owners of Olive & Ivy. Food is top notch reasonably priced and makes you want MORE!
I was in town for a training class and our group enjoyed lunch here two days in a row. The food is fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the rotisserie bowl for lunch. Moussaka was also yummy.

My husband and I went here for an early valentines dinner since we don’t like to go out on Valentine’s night when it’s most crowded. Well, let’s just say it was an awful 2nd experience!!! I found that bug in my food!!! I put my fork down and my husband asked what was wrong and I had told him to look and he saw that and said omg that thing is huge. However, we didn’t make a scene because that’s not the right thing to do BUT the manager/owner whoever it was the tall guy standing in the front when you walk in, had the nerve to come over and said he’s sorry and that there is nothing he could do about it. However, besides him saying that - all they did was take my dinner off the menu. My father in law owned his own restaurant before and said that that is unacceptable. My husband and I weren’t looking for a free bill BUT the fact that this guy had the nerve to say there’s nothing I can do is unacceptable. That’s gross it was mixed in and I would’ve eaten that. Don’t go to this place and if you do make sure you check your food because they are not clean!!!!! We will NEVER be back.
Amazing experience every time we come. This was the location of my wedding rehearsal dinner and it was perfect! We were able to use the side celebration room, which offers extra seating and a fireplace. The staff are very friendly and they were so accommodating with creating our own custom dinner menu. Being byob was a plus!
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to in Monmouth county. The outside is very unassuming but once you walk in the aesthetic of this quaint, romantic restaurant blows you away. The food did not disappoint. We tried the fried goat cheese with homemade fig jam and it was the most decadent thing I’ve had the pleasure of eating. We also got the Mediterranean nachos and the person who decided to come up with that combination of flavors deserves an award. The appetizer portions were also very generous by the time we got our entrees we were stuffed. What impressed me is the kabob platter, which the table next to us ordered because one does not thing of kabobs as something fancy but the presentation of the kabobs blew us away. The dessert was unbelievable, they transformed normal baklava and you could taste the spices and combine with the candied orange peel it elevated it to a new level. The chocolate ganache pecan tart was also heavenly. I don’t even like coffee but the Greek coffee was so perfectly spiced that even that was excellent. It’s also impressive that this is the type of place that you can go for a nice inexpensive lunch or dinner of something simple like a well made gyro or lamb burger or you can splurge on some of the pricier entrees that are well worth the money. Truly a place that most people with different budgets could enjoy. The fact that this place is byob is icing on the very fabulous cake that is this hidden gem of a restaurant. Will be going back to try to desserts again with some bourbon because it would pair very nicely.
Came here for date night with my lady, this place is amazing food and staff were great!! Have to try the souvlaki, all food was awesome and prices were good & BYOB~~
What a beautiful space and fantastic food too! We started with the spreads, which were delightful on both the provided pita and the bread from the basket. My son enjoyed calamari, which had an interesting red pepper jelly like dip, my other son enjoyed a big bowl of pasta with sausage and beans, my husband really liked the green pasta, and my eggplant was delicious. Our service was attentive and knowledgeable too. Give it a try; it's great!
