“It may be slightly hard to order if your not Turkish, but both the staff and patrons treat you like a honored guest in their country, the food is delicious, and they don’t mind helping you pick something. There isn’t really a menu, but they have things if I am correct on days of the week. I moved out of the area months ago, and I kinda miss my occasional trips here.”

“Birria Tacos were boom! You have to try them. They sell different kind of tacos. Even “Tacos al pastor”. Pizza is great, so many choices to choose from. Not your typically pizza joint.”

“Food was good. Service was excellent. I had avocado toast. The avocado is not fresh. It was slightly watery on my bread. I asked the waitress if the avocado was fresh. She replied it was premade that they buy. It was kind of bland. The other diners had eggs and bacon which was very good. No complaints. They also have good oatmeal.

Parking: Parking is mainly on the left side of restaurant. A few places are available in the very front of the building.”

“The bartender, server was exceptionally nice and friendly. Also very pretty. My mom, aunt and I went for lunch and we enjoyed the music and the food. We were supposed to meet somewhere else but the place was closed and we wound up there and glad we did!”

“I just came here to say that the girl, girls? Sometimes there is two! who work the drive thru window in the morning deserve a raise. They truly bang out that drive thru. I used to come here every morning for months, I haven't in a while. Came through this morning and not only did she notice my coffee was wrong, she went and made it herself all over again. To say I appreciated that is an understatement. I love her and she deserves the recognition. Thank you for holding that place down cause I swear without you, it would probably be a mess. You're doing such a baller job. Keep it up. And give them girls a damn raise forreal!”

“Atmosphere/Ambience/Attention to detail: Welcoming & beautiful. Linen tablecloths and napkins are classy. Popovers served at the beginning of one’s meal…Classic & Classy. House Manager monitoring the floor speaks of days gone by…unfortunately. A “Fine Dining” establishment should necessarily have such a person present. Food: Good to Very Good. Service: Exceptional on 5/8/25 (Carey ?). Noise Level: Deafening due to vaulted ceiling and tables being so close together. Lacks privacy. You’re part of your neighbor’s conversation whether you want to be…or not. Overall: By far one of, if not The Best Restaurant in the area. If only they could work on the acoustics. “My family and I ate at this amazing restaurant! We happened to be in the area and stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant. We were greeted nicely, the service was good and the food was delicious! We even met Richard who took the time to graciously explain the history and origin of the restaurant/ menu. The atmosphere was inviting and rich with culture. I would totally recommend Samarkand! If you are ready for a new and unique dinning experience this is the place for you!”

“Went last night with two friends for my birthday! I think our chef said his name was Gino! He was great and our waitress and the food was great! My only complaint was that the music was blaring so, we couldn't hear what anyone was saying and we really could even talk to each other!!! It took away from the experience since our chef was saying things that we couldn't hear. I did ask three different staff members if they could lower it to no avail. We don't think we will go back there again! We had to keep asking our waitress to repeat herself and that got to be exhsusting😣”
