Never been here, but I've heard good things & everyone should go Party at this joint. Buy up the whole bar & blast some Rock & Roll.

Food was delicious- we had the wings, calamari, east oysters, pasta and Ceasars salad

"We had a terrible experience with takeout from this restaurant. The quality, taste, and portion sizes were all disappointing. To make matters worse, the order, which was just two appetizers (in photos) and two empanadas—came to over $50, which was far too much for what we received. Honestly, we would have preferred being told these items were no longer available than receiving such bad tasting and horribly packed dishes."

I reserved a table for 7 but I didn't let them know about the 2 kids, they were able to change the table to a corner booth so the kids can sit comfortably in such short notice on a busy Saturday. Amazing birthday dinner for my daughter who turned 20. Thanks for making it special.

Got there and had to honk to get the valet’s attention as they were on their phone. Get up to the restaurant which is completely empty and no one at host stand. The waiter sat us and then told us they were out of lobster ravioli, mussels and burrata cheese so half the menu is now out.

We ordered the pepperoni & hot honey pizza as an app. There was no hot honey and the cheese tasted like very cheap quality. The bottom of the crust was slightly burnt yet some of the pizza was cold.

I got the shrimp Madrid and the food was so spicy that it was almost inedible. I don’t mind some heat but this was way too spicy.

When we first ordered our meal we decided to get a pitcher of white sangria and the waiter brought us red.

Overall for two of us, it took a total of an hour and a half for our meal. We were literally the only guests there and they still couldn’t get the order correct, couldn’t get good food quality and there was no service people around. Lastly, the menu is way overpriced as we spent just over $200 with tip. Not worth it at all.

When we left the valet was hanging out in a car. I don’t even know if it was his. Overall, this place is someplace I won’t return to and I won’t be surprised if it closes by the end of the year. The owner clearly doesn’t know how to run a restaurant.

The food here is so so good. The steak tips, the shrimp Madrid are my go too. I tried their oysters today. They are best I’ve ever had! Beautiful outdoor patio. Run don’t walk it’s amazing. They also have happy hour 7 days a week!!!

Bonita By The River is an absolute gem for hosting events! We recently held a real estate agent mixer there and were blown away by the exceptional service. The ambiance is simply stunning, creating the perfect backdrop for networking and socializing. The food was delicious and plentiful, leaving our guests raving. The staff was incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our event was a success. We're so impressed that we've already booked our next event there. Highly recommend!

Celebrated my son's 30th birthday here. Upon our arrival, the hostess greeted us with a smile. They helped when needed while we were decorating our section of the restaurant. There were multiple parties going on at the same time, but everything was separated by partitions, which was very helpful. My only complaint is we had a set menu because we had a certain number of people attending the celebration, I did not enjoy any of the food which was eggplant parm, a chicken dish that was entirely to lemony and salty. (Chicken Milaneses) I don't like calamari, so that was a dud. The salad didn't have enough dressing it also was bland and plain . The pasta was also bland!!! If you're looking for a great atmosphere by all means, come here but if you're looking for great food I do not recommend it!!! I spent $150 on my portion of the bill for nothing but 2 slices of bread and butter and a glass of soda....smh!

My 2nd time at Bonita's. I came on a thursday night for my bday dinner with my gf's. Once there, i literally had the entire place to myself lol. It was dead. But i didnt mind! It felt as if though it was just opened for me lol. The drinks were delicious and the food was incredible as well. We had a great time and the few ppl who were working sang me HBD :) all in all i wish they had more of a night life vibe but still a good spot. Will be back

It's not my first visit, and I'm pretty sure I've reviewed in the past but I wanted to give a special shout out to Luis. He said he works behind the bar but he was super attentive to our table, making sure we enjoyed the food, had everything we needed and provided additional info for future happy hours, specialty drinks, etc. The food, as always, was great and so were the drinks. Because of Luis I will definitely be sure to pay him a visit at the bar for happy hour.

Such a disappointing letdown. I took my wife and some family here for a birthday dinner, and from the reviews, pictures, and appealing menu, we were all excited to go. Let me start with the good: Beautiful ambience! The decor was authentic and screamed traditional style. Nicely situated a few blocks from SoJo Spa. It wasn't too loud indoors, it was actually surprisingly empty for a Saturday night. Our waitress was amazing and catered to our every need and was very polite. The drinks were also a hit. For the bad: The menu is what drew us in, and we had high expectations given the plate prices. The starters were ok, we had the shrimp(best of the starters), the filet tips, wings, and the “margarita pizza” (ended up being a regular pizza, no basil or any attributes of a traditional margarita pizza, however, it was good nonetheless), and mussels, (had to send back as most were cold). Our entrees were the biggest disappointment. I ordered the spicy chicken and pasta, not much of a complaint there, others had lobster ravioli, which came with shrimp but we couldn't tell if there was actual lobster in the ravioli, the surf and turf (lacked flavor and was overcooked), and the braised short-ribs (ok but average tasting). Now I wouldn't say any of it was horrible or even bad, but it all fell flat and did not live up to the price. Overall, we had a great time there and I wish I could give more stars because there's so much potential, but I just was expecting more.

Three of us came here to celebrate a friend's birthday. Several dishes ordered weren't available, two had to be sent back and two were good. Very disappointing....Food & the view.

Had a great overall experience dining here to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend. The food was amazing and both our server David and the staff were very accommodating and attentive. Definitely exceeded my expectations and we will back!

While the service staff and bartender were excellent, the overall experience just didn't live up to the high prices. For a party of four, we ended up paying almost $400 for tostones with ropa vieja, pernil with rice, a churrasco mofongo, ravioli entrees, and a drink each. Considering the place was completely empty, the quality of the food really didn't justify the cost.

The dishes were okay, but not exceptional – definitely not what you'd expect for that kind of money. We were hoping for a more refined dining experience, especially since the restaurant wasn't busy at all. The staff were great, very professional and attentive, but the restaurant really needs to rethink its pricing to better match the quality of its food.
