One important note: THEY ONLY TAKE CASH. NO GOOGLE/APPLE PAY. Other than the payment inconvenience, the food and service is good. Ordered a large pizza half tomato & cheese and half white pizza. The edges were slightly burnt but the pizza was delicious. The crust was chewy, the bottom not soggy, there was enough ricotta and mozzarella cheese. The tomato & cheese pizza was good too. The tomato sauce tasted fresh. We also got their fried calamari which was good too.

I love this place with some nostalgia as my family would go here on many occasions in the past, however recently I went there and it was just as good as I remember. The Pizza has that charcoal crust flavor that is just amazing. The Price for the Pizza is reasonable. the Appetizers are great, especially their fried mozzarella which is 1 of 2 places in this area that makes it that way. I had their typical tomato and mozzarella pizza(Margarita pizza) and it was outstanding in terms of quality.Hopefully I get to bring some friends here in a few weeks, The only downside is they only accept cash which does make it a bit harder to go there. But I'll say personally it is worth it.

The food, atmosphere, price and the service. The perfect place for family. We ordered the antipasto salad, large pizza with pepperoni on half the pizza, penne pasta with italian sauage and tarfuto for desert. It was one of the best food I have ever had since I moved here in NJ from Brooklyn 3 years ago. Very, very delicious. The atmosphere here is very relaxing and comfortable. Service was very attentive.This place is a jam. It will be a go to place for our family.

Ordered a pepperoni pie here and it was great, really good pizza. Walked in and pie was ready in 15 minutes. Orfered a small pie but even so it seemed like a large pie.Place has a number of tables inside for sit down dining. Was impressed at how fast my pizza was made and wasn't that expensive either.Highly recommend getting pizza here!

Very displeased the last couple of times I’ve come here. Not as good as they used to be. This is the second time I’ve walked into the restaurant and the waiter rudely stares and says the restaurant will be closed for 45 min so the kitchen staff can eat. This happened to me TWICE during different hours. It was like we were bothering them by even walking thru the doors. How about a sign outside or lock the doors? The first time this happened to me I sat with my family for 45 min while we watched the whole staff sit at a table and eat at the same time. How do you run a business like that? The staff alone makes me never want to come here again. Not the same. What a shame.

They use quality of ingredients ( like San Mariano tomatoes from Italy)…and the taste will have you wanting more.The place is cash only and they don’t deliver. Very old school, but so worth the trip.The price is great too. We got 1 medium 16inch pie and 1 personal 10 inch pie for $28. Great price.We can’t wait to go back!
One of my favorite pizza spots in Cliffside park. The Margherita pizza is my favorite! Super thin crust with flavorful pizza sauce and generous amount of toppings. Love that they’re baked in a brick oven, gives a nice woody flavor to the crust and pizza as a whole. Love their calamari and they also have amazing salads. Also amazing service feels like home.

The only pizza place that truly makes me happy is Lombardi’s in Soho….. actually ‘was’ I should have said. Since the first time I ate at Brooklyn Pizza I’ve never wanted to drive to the city again to wait for 20-30min and pay X5. Don’t get me wrong Lombardi’s is the still best Pizzeria in NYC for me but here in Edgewater Brooklyn Pizza is the King!

Oh how the mighty have fallen… this used to be a solid pizza spot before the pandemic, now it’s just deteriorated - food, service, ambiance. All of it. Really need to up your game guys. Not good.
