I recently visited the Pancake Factory and had the pleasure of being served by J. From the moment I walked in, J's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home. They were incredibly attentive, ensuring my experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. J's knowledge of the menu was impressive—they provided excellent recommendations, which turned out to be absolutely delicious. The pancakes were fantastic, but it was J's exceptional service that truly made my visit memorable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and ability to anticipate needs were outstanding. If you're looking for top-notch service and a great dining experience, ask for J—you won't be disappointed!🥰

My family and I came from out of town for the first time here to celebrate my Aunts Birthday. We had such a great time and will definitely be back. We were greeted right away by everyone upon entering. Our server Sarah was amazing and so sweet. All the food and coffee was delicious and we’ll most definitely be back.

ate here yesterday and the service was great, they really went out of their way to make my little brothers birthday feel special with a sparkler in his milkshake and bubbles flying in the air! I wish I could remember our servers name because she was a sweetheart, the absolute best! can’t recommend this place enough for a nice breakfast or some crazy extravagant decadent pancakes/sweets

I got the mini waffle Benedict and the eggs were fully cooked instead of being runny like you expect from poached eggs and the waffles were slightly cold. I used to love this place.

The food was big portions, very tasty, home feel, relatively affordable, staff was nice, basically this place checks all the boxes. Very busy so you know a local favorite.

This place is amazing.... Food was awesome, service was ABSOLUTELY on point. Front of the house manager, Yasmin, stopped by during our meal making sure all our needs were being met. Our server, Bridget, was incredibly attentive also.... we could not recommend this place higher.

Awesome food & service. We had the Brownstone fries & brisket breakfast skillet (brunch special) sooo tasty. I opted to have the Chipotle aioli on the side & requested a side of the cool bbq ranch sauce from the fries, all so freaking good. The skillet came with soup, I opted for chicken noodle which was delicious and my friend got the French onion soup that she said was amazing.
All parking is free valet (with a suggested tip between $4-7, it was on the ticket)

Man this place is so overrated lol I can’t even be mad , but let me break this down to you… Valets cool food was disgusting and came out in legit 4 minutes couldn’t even fool a 5 year old and tell ‘em it was fresh hell no ! The OJ was amazing definitely not worth $7 though. I’m so tired of these breakfast places charging $20+ for a breakfast platter that has 2 strips of bacon 2 eggs and one sausage and does not even come with home fries overcharging the people for absolutely not reason. The atmosphere was overwhelming for some reason there was like 10 “birthdays” going in at the same time and at this point am I at a club ?!? LOL absolutely wild and once I got the bill I knew that’ll be the last time they see me .

Went to this location with my wife and son, waiter didn’t even listen to our order correctly and brought me plain fries instead sweet potato fries and to top it all off my invicta watch was stolen from my suv by the valet

I visited Brownstone Pancake Factory in Edgewater specifically to try the weekend special, the Short Rib Benedict. When I tasted it, I was shocked to realize it wasn’t short rib—it was pot roast. As someone who loves short rib but can’t stand pot roast, this was beyond disappointing. I know the difference in taste and texture, and this wasn’t it.

If this really was short rib, then it’s a terrible cut and/or cooking method that completely destroyed the integrity of the dish. Even the portion size is suspicious—short rib is expensive, yet this dish is only $22, which makes me think you’re substituting with a cheaper cut like pot roast to be more generous.

This felt misleading and really soured what could have been a good experience. If you’re going to advertise short rib, serve actual short rib, or at least prepare it properly. Brownstone needs to do better to ensure customers get what they’re paying for.
