So I’ve been here several times and the decor makes you want to keep coming back. I also love that it is BYOB. My concern is the service. Everytime I come, the service SUCKS. The server doesn’t come by to check on us, etc. HOWEVER, a gentleman by the name of Po made me change my mind. He wasn’t our server but you can tell that he took a lot of pride in the food and the establishment. He was kind and friendly and we appreciated him. And he wasn’t even our server. Food was good and my favorite was the hummus! I’ll be back. I just need for them to focus more on customer service.

For my birthday, I decided to celebrate at The Cave Restaurant in Edgewater, NJ, and let me tell you it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the aesthetic and ambiance were everything. The candlelight on each table, the cave-inspired walls, and the beautiful sculptures and wall art all created such a relaxing, romantic vibe. The atmosphere was classy but cozy, perfect for date nights or special occasions.
For drinks, I ordered the Wild Berry Lemonade and my boyfriend went with the Baja Blast. That lemonade was so good I had to get a second one! For our appetizer, we tried the cheesy nachos super flavorful, warm, and crispy. For entrées, he got the House Burger (served with chips and coleslaw), and I went with the Cilantro Chicken Quesadilla with sour cream and salsa on the side. When I say that quesadilla was packed with flavor… whew, a 10/10! And that coleslaw? I’m not even a coleslaw person, but theirs changed my whole mind it was that good. The portion sizes were generous, so I even had leftovers to take home.
The service was just as amazing as the food. Our server was friendly, attentive, and checked in on us multiple times. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking, which was a nice bonus, and the location itself is perfect surrounded by other restaurants and a great overall vibe.
As a TikTok Foodie content creator (@TaliyaBBeauty) I have to say this is easily one of my top dining experiences in New Jersey so far. The Cave is beautiful, affordable, and worth every penny our total was only about $70 for two entrées, an appetizer, and multiple drinks. Highly recommend for birthdays, date nights, or any celebration.

I’ve gone to this place for many years. I can’t count how many times I went to eat at this place. The only thing that’s stopping me from ever giving this a 5 star is the fact that you guys downgraded the nachos. There’s barely anything on it, just the cheese and the nachos.. maybe a few sauces on the side. I don’t mind if you guys raise the prices and start adding veggies and a selection of chicken or red meat to the nachos. This menu is perfection, I would just correct the nachos.

We went here to celebrate my husband’s birthday and the service was terrible from the moment we sat down. We sat in the dark for 10 minutes until someone lit the candle on our table. We then waited for a while until we had to stop and ask someone to take our order. The food came out quickly. However each time we needed anything we had to track down a waiter. When we ask for a refill and someone to take our dessert order a waiter said ok and never came back. I honestly think we could have walked out of the restaurant and no one would have noticed!!
Never again!
Delicious!

We celebrated our wedding anniversary at The Cave and had such an amazing time! The vibe there was super cool something we hadn’t experienced before and it really made the night special.
The food was really good too, and we enjoyed everything. There was a small mixup with our order, but the staff fixed it quickly, which was nice.
Overall, it was a great experience and a night to remember. So glad we chose The Cave for our celebration!

Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday with some friends. I’ll start by saying the ambiance and overall vibe is great! We ordered some plates to share as the portions were generous! Everything we ordered tasted good though there were a few things that could have been better. The tomato sauce that accompanied the breadsticks came out cold. We were offered a change of plates and silverware when our main course platter came out, though no one ever returned with them and they had already taken our dirty ones so we were sitting there picking at what we could without forks or plates. Once we were able to flag down our waitress, we asked for a box to take it all to go. We also were presented with the wrong dessert and needed to flag down our waitress again to get it changed. Our server was nice enough, though seemed rushed and maybe overwhelmed with her given section. The section we sat in seemed easily overlooked.

The food has always been amazing here not my first visit.
However today the service was surprisingly low, no matter how many instructions we gave they kept messing up orders.
The waiters did not even bother to make sure that since the reservation was for more people they should check if plates were sufficient. Substitutions messed up, open glass for kids despite of requesting plastic.
Food was worth it, I guess only go when you are on a date or double date.

It definately gives a nice intimate vibe, great for small groups or a date night. The cave theme adds to the ambiance. The music sounded hypnotizing at points; That's not a positive or a negative just interesting to note. The menu is a bit pricey and the food was alright. It is dim in there which I enjoyed. Bring your night vision goggles lol. The seating is hard they do have cushions which could use a bit more fluff.

As soon as i walk in i see how pretty snd nice the atmosphere is, dark but not too dark, comfortable chairs and almosted inclosed tables. The food is great and the service here is amazing. The waiter was super nice and not too expensive. Must try 10/10.

First time at the caves, we went for desserts after dinner to celebrate an early birthday. The desserts are massive and definitely can be shared among 2-3 people. We got a regular and a deluxe, not much of a difference in size.
The cappuccino was nice, strong and delicious 🤤😋.
We will be coming back to try the food.
