I am very disappointed with the coffee bar at Whole Foods Edgewater. On most days they are unable to make a standard latte or cappuccino. It is probably the simplest thing to make: espresso, steamed milk, and foam. The mixing of different parts is inconsistent and on most days tastes awful. Recently they ran out of raw sugar and said that it had not been delivered. The management needs to step up, train their staff and improve the standards of coffee to its customers.

I don't particularly go to Whole Foods for my grocery shopping, but I usually go to the food bars for a quick lunch or dinner. My favorite protein to buy from them is the breaded tilapia. They weigh the piece, so the price does fluctuate. The cheapest I've gotten it for is $4.75 and the most I've paid for it is $9. More on the expensive end, but the pieces are fairly large. They have many more proteins and sides to choose from, but I do want to add that I am definitely not a fan of their grilled/breaded chicken-- tastes very odd. Almost as if it's not appropriately cooked, or just lacks seasoning. When I'm not going for their tilapia, I go to the cold salad bar or hot bar. They have a great selection to choose from. They also always have brown and white rice prepared on one end of the bar as well as Mac and cheese, which is one of my absolute favorites. They weigh the food at the register and the cold meals usually costs me an average of $9-11 each time. Hot meals normally cost me $14-16. Again, more on the expensive end which is why I don't go here regularly, but it's a great option for quality ready-to-go food.

Just ate the worst bagel in my life purchased yesterday in Edgewater. Really reduced bakery section except for store brand bread not UCD else. Meat and dairy depts. still very good. Touch screen at checkout did not work to enter prime number. Checker said I didn't press hard enough. After 5 tries she finally agreed to enter it in her terminal.

Very often there is expired food on the shelves. Be careful. Egg cases are dirty on the bottom. Old broken eggs. Dairy department is the worst. Cottage cheese with dates from June in August. E careful shopping there.

Patricia accommodated my bakery order two days back as Jill was on vacation. Once again Whole Foods achieves recognition for best cake ever. Everyone enjoyed each bite some went for seconds even the non cake eaters. Priscilla was very helpful upon pickup Wednesday morning to add special touches to offer to add some extra fruit to ensure cake met my expectations. I presented a photo from my previous order and in a few minutes I was ready to go. The upgrades and remodeling of this location is absolutely stunning. The staff is friendly and willing to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations. Jill, Patricia and Priscilla thank you for making this visit such a enjoyable experience for me & my team.

Again, I went to Whole Foods and had a bad experience. I had ordered 8 soft shell crab (8 bucks apiece) and said I would be in the next day at 11 AM to pick up as I was going to be in a rush. 11 AM I am standing in front of the counter and the man said no order was taken PLUS they do not take orders anymore as the meat department. What? Why accept an order then. For the 4th time in a row at the area where you grind the peanuts/almonds to make peanut butter the containers were gone. No labels to write down the number of the SKU. 4 times???? I'm done with that and I will grind my own at home. Salad bar - again never changes selections and empty or near-empty food trays are always here. Dry looking mac n' cheese looks like it was there since yesterday. Pork barbecue full of fat. Limp looking premade salads. The word "friendly" is gone from the cashiers. Young people could care less and never smile. Trader Joe's is my go-to store more and more. Hoping the new Whole Foods in Weehawken will be better. Disappointed customer.

Terrible experience shopping in Edgewater Whole Foods Market. The store which used to be a beacon of food retail has turned to ....terrible place to shop. 7 pm weekday the bakery department offers .... empty shelves... People, are you serious?

The Whole Foods here has definitely improved again. Pizza section full and produce is really nice. The management here and customer service team are the best at this Whole Foods as well as their whole body team. If you have any questions they will help you. I think one improvement would just be cleaner carts/baskets. The set up is a bit strange now. More of a warehouse feel. :( Would be nice to be a bit more like it once was.

If no star was possible it would be what I would give. I will tell the truth and the food prices are better now with amazon. My issue isn't with the prices as much as some of the people they have working there. Most of them are nice and I am sure they don't get paid as well as they should, but that's what they choose to do as work so life is what it is. What kills me is the rude people that work there, and it could be a cashier or a manager or just anyone who is not people service people. I complained to customer service about one of their people and they gave me an answer that was so lame that it made me laugh. I understand its hard to get help and I am sure management walks on eggshells when they have someone who shows up to work. But I have to put up wth their crap because whole foods can't find better employees? Well I stopped shopping at edgewater whole foods I am ofter in Paramus or Hoboken so it's not like I don't have other choices. Plus their salad bar went from bad to worst in past few years. You can take a bite from each dish and they all taste the same except when they over use the truffle oil, which then taste horibble. You need a better chef to head up your salad bar. OK last complaint I buy the chicken spicy italian sausage all the time however sometimes it taste like it should and other times it taste like they mixed up the spices. I know Whole food have pre package spices that they just add to they ground meat, but they can't even get what spice package gets into what meat, NEVER should an ITALIAN hot sauasge taste like cummin. Italians don't have cummin in any of their cooking dishes because it's a spice used in Spain ,Idian, Mexico etc but NEVER in any italian dish. but why fire some one who shows up for work even if they are horrrible at their job, let the customer deal with your idots. Not me never again! Wow UP DATE Today I went to the paramus store what a great store. I was there before but it's been a few years and I have to say the fish and meat department is a large selection and they actual fish and meat seems better, especially the fish. Sometimes at the edgewater store the fish would look dry old and dis-colored. The King salmon would be the same piece for a week, like no one ever bought it and it just sat there. Paramus store has a huge selection of wild caught fish rather than mostly farm fish at edgewater. And to finish the cashier was really nice with a smile on her face, not like edgewater where they look like they are doing you a favor by throwing your stuff in a bag.

Whole Foods is consistently my go to for floral or plant gifts , great quality and fair prices . Today we got an amazing fresh halibut filet that was so delicious. The staff at the seafood department was so great and friendly.. rare to find! I actually prefer the pre renovation Whole Foods but am learning to like the new version too.. I really don't know how people shop there without being prime members with amazon..

Sad that many of my favorite brands are leaving WF in droves due to their sales policies. The latest blow to this location is the closing of the bar until 4pm on the weekends. I always loved the option of drinking a beer while I shopped around noon. Amazon is doing it's best to take away what was so great and unique about Whole Foods.

This is a great Whole Foods. The lines are short, and I'm always able to find what I'm looking for. Staff is super helpful as well.

Your food is disgusting ! Looks like it's been out for days, expensive and unhygienic ! Sad because all I the whole foods( Ridgewood, Houston street) are clean and inviting . Hopefully the new one that's opening soon down River road will learn from your mistakes. You have to get your food in check. I don't know how the health department doesn't shut you down

I love Whole Foods ! I love the variety they have. The food is always fresh and staff is very nice. On certain days, they also have samples and will sometimes give you a coupon on the item that's being sampled. Everytime I go to WF, I purchase the flax quinoa bread for 5 dollars. It is delicious and healthy. I get their vegan yogurts that are very tasty. I also purchase their smoothies and sushi from time to time. I love their sushi and I love that you can see when they are making the sushi. I also encourage you to take a look at their beauty products aisle. I purchase their mad hippie face cream and their soaps. Amazing place to shop !
