I have been coming here for 15 plus years the portions have continuously gotten smaller and smaller, while the prices have continued to climb. 2 scoops of ice cream was not even visible in my medium cup unless I looked over it! My friend had a small 1 scoop and if I could’ve weighed them they probably would have been about the same. Being asked if I want one or two scoops for a cup size I already chose is also something I only see at this location. Speaking of weighing, they literally have a weighing machine on their counter and after scooping your ice cream they weigh it …I mean it’s really weird! I have never seen this anywhere else! I have been a haagen dazs customer all my life, any other place you go, in the city, in the malls you will get a proper portion of ice cream that mounts over your cup. At this place, I don’t even think I got a proper one scoop and I asked for 2! The owners of this chain have looked for ways to skimp their customers for years and at this point I will take things further and go above them. Stop playing with people’s money! These are hard times already, imagine getting pissed off while trying to have a good day and enjoy some ice cream.

the girl with the anne name tag was so disrespectful. i went in multiple times and she wouldn’t stop harassing the girls who were helping me and the owner continuously hovers over the employees. i was very uncomfortable. Let employees be employees. Also the portions are extremely small for the insane high price. Overall 0 aura.

It was delicious as usual. It may seem expensive because it was the same amount as Japanese ice cream, not the amount you get at an American ice cream shop. The staff member was a petite Asian woman, but she provided normal customer service. I can't say they were very friendly, but they greeted me and thanked me properly.

I was waiting for someone to serve me and all I saw was people who arrived after I was served. I asked one of the girls if someone could serve me and she told me that the line wasn't there when I had already made the line. Very bad service. No one pays attention to you and they don't even notice who comes first and who comes next.
Outstanding service. Had 48 4oz ice cream cups prepared for my staff meeting on short notice. Was given two cool (pun intended) insulation bags to prevent the ice cream from melting. An Edgewater institution for as long as I can remember. Highly recommend this location and team for all your advance orders.
PS - The baked goods are insanely good, especially the chocolate chip brownies! ??

Hi Sue. I had a very disappointing experience with Amy during my visit to your store. This was by far the worst customer service interaction I have ever experienced. As a new customer, who was excited to physically come to your store instead of ordering from Ubereats, it was really disappointing when it came to Amy's aggressive attitude and poor customer service. I hope management can address this issue to ensure better service in the future.

Worst smoothie ever, tastes nothing to the flavor i ordered , went back to complaint the guy offered to fix it instead of make a new one wich resulted a worst flavor, never again this place

Poor service and serving sizes are laughable for the price you pay. Manager sits in the back room and watches like a hawk from multiple screens the employees scoop ice cream. Really weird environment, not very conducive for repeat business. Would recommend other local non franchise ice cream shops.
