My boyfriend and I love coming here, the coffee and pastries/desserts are really good and the atmosphere is very clean and calming. It's also the perfect place to get some work done.

We went there for lunch today and I ordered a salmon pita sandwich. First off, there were three pieces of salmon on top and that was it. The inside was a salad that tasted fishy, but I couldn’t fully pinpoint why. After I ate half the sandwich, I took a deeper look and saw something that looked like shrimp. I looked at the menu and there was no mention of shrimp in this sandwich. My husband went to talk to the waitress and she said that there was shrimp in the sandwich but that it wasn’t on the menu. I had to leave immediately because I’m allergic to shrimp and had to run home for the medicine. It is extremely irresponsible of them to not list shrimp as one of the items in the sandwich. People can be harmed by this. I would not recommend this restaurant and will never go back there.

I had the best experience at Kafenio in part due to the two servers, Keren and Sophia. The food and coffee were the best!I was amazed with their warm smiles and attention. It was a beautiful experience overall.

It is a good coffee fr
We walked in to just get coffee and maybe a baklava. But with Stephanie’s friendly and inviting nature we ended up (gladly) getting more from the sweet bar. The walnut baklava and the orange coconut king hazelnut were a pleasant surprise.

The location and overall atmosphere is great but falls drastically short in service and experience. They no longer make the souffle pancakes which predominantlywhy we went there. We arrived at 12:30pm and they were in the middle of mopping the floors and had all the chairs up. Sat us down and proceeded to mop over our feet. We left as they didn't have what we wanted and it smelled so strongly of cleaners.

Rude service (I wouldn’t even call it a service) and tried to overcharge me for 2 espresso shots

I was very disappointed in the service I received. I only went in to buy three drinks and the Asian lady who I believe might be the owner was not friendly or kind and didn’t even greet me and she always looks grumpy. She made me feel as if I was an inconvenience. I also had to wait for her to finish texting before charging me almost 11 dollars for three small beverages( a tiny coke, a seltzer water, and an orange juice). Prices are ridiculous and the customer service is the worst. Kindness goes a long way especially is the hospitality field, which could definitely prevent a bad review.
