Food was good but pricey. They added 20% tip automatically to the bill which I thought was unethical

I would return tomorrow if I could. Dinner with a party of 6 people. The waitress was kind and informative. For apps we have empanadas, gauc with painting chips and croquettes. They were all delicious and fresh. I got the Havana Shrimp for dinner. The shrimp was succulent and plump. I got so full I ended up having to bring half of my dish home. It did not disappoint. It's BYOB. They mix our wine with the house sangria. It was delicious. Rebeca is truly a hidden gem and I would recommend to everyone

Great area, beautiful restaurant, great view. Nice people, I love the fact it's a BYOB restaurant. The food is amazedly delicious. The music is at a low level you still can have a conversation without screaming.

This was my first time having dinner at Rebecca's. We were there to celebrate my sister's birthday. We had such a wonderful time. The food was amazing! The service was amazing! And the ambiance was a beautiful intimate setting. I will absolutely be sharing this hidden gem with others and will be visiting more often. Thank you Rebecca's!

I came here for a party and I wanted to jump on here and give a review. I'm so surprised how this place has such a high ratings. We sat in the back. It seems so un kept. The floor was sticky and dirty. There was cob webs on the ceiling and things kept falling from the lighting. While sitting at our table. It was extremely cold and uncomfortable. Def not temperature regulated. We had apps on the table. Instead of being hot or warm they were cold. The shrimp had a weird red color to it like they were dyed. I would say the apps out of everything was the best out of this whole mess of a meal. Empanadas was salty but good. Shrimp over tostones was good although the weird red color. Steak quesadillas ICE COLD. But decent and a salad that mushy that I wouldn't touch.. We had four entrees to choose from steak with rice and beans, chicken with a spicy sauce, a mustard encrusted salmon with a fruit salad? Weird and a shredded pork We all got a different dish. The salmon was ice cold. Like right out of the frig. And the "sauce" tasted like apple sauce". And a fruit salad that had cantaloupe in it. I thought cantaloupe was recalled? Eww.. the steak was again warm but it was the better of the dishes and a pork dish steaming hot but when I say SALTY! Holy cow four glasses later my mouth is still trying to get rid of the salt.. We saw on other plates they had some pink mush on their plate and they said it was coconut yams.. what is it with this place and food dye!! We were hoping dessert would be better but NOPE! They threw down some dessert a pink colored flan that my 5 year old neice could make better and a coffee infused "crème brûlée" made out of powdered coffee. To top it off they were bare handing it on to the plate at the bar! This was the most horrendous dinner I may have ever had.. I'm glad I didn't have to pay for it.. what a shame.. who ever wrote a good review what were you thinking! Also staff here was not friendly at all. They looked miserable and since it was a small area they kept pushing themselves into your chair and over you. Super comfortable and very unprofessional!

The food was so delicious! Especially the skirt steak and the mashed yams! Yum! The salad was just okay. The plantain chips and Guacamole was delicious! The service was friendly, but could have been more attentive. We had to call over someone each time we needed something. However, the atmosphere was beautiful and great for our small birthdsy gathering. We would definitely return and recommend this place! A real find in Bergen County!

This place has amazing food, service and ambiance. The pork, ropa vieja, and salmon (pineapple and mango) were all delicious. It is a BYOB which is awesome if you know that beforehand and bring a bottle. We didn't so we ordered a bottle of wine (it was late and they only had white wine left). We think it was spoiled so we returned it and they took it off the bill. My advice is to BYOB but if you don't then just forego alcohol. I wondered why this absolutely terrific restaurant didn't have a better rating because the food was delicious and after reading a lot of the reviews it's mostly because of other issues, not the food.

I had my soon to be daughter laws bridal shower and I was highly disappointed in the way we were mistreated and rushed started at 1pm when the party began the waitress/hostess rushed me the whole 3 hrs I was there I had to rush my guests out because I was told I have to be out the door 4pm sharp with my decorations and everything they threatened we will be charged 300 extra if we weren’t.. horrible way to treat guests we rushed out with everyone 75.00 a person nothing included tablecloth wa drinks all extra there was little food offered it’s a extreme rip off we will be sure to let our family and friends not to use this restaurant!

This restaurant was pretty boring. Music was at such a low volume you couldn't even hear it.The staff was extremely attentive and gracious. However, the food was definitely awful. The salmon was perfectly executed but the white rice was definitely a huge miss. This was not long grain white rice, which is what Latinos eat and this was box rice like uncle Bens. The black beans were poorly made. I grew up on Cuban food. This was atrocious. A huge insult to the Cuban gastronomy.

The food was delicious and I went with a friend who is a Cuban from Miami. Her verdict was that the food was legit, so that's good enough for me...but I knew that would be the case. So yes...if you're for a good, relaxing night out with some really good cuban food...u cannot go wrong with Rebecca's! One tip, bring your bottle of wine and have them make you a delicious sangria. It's totally worth it!
