This was my go to ramen place in Nj since 2019 and for the last few years quality has gone down. Soft boiled eggs used to be the standard and that slowly turned to hard boiled and now soft boiled is an upgrade. The portions of meat is smaller and not as tender as it used to be. It’s just a bowl of mostly noodles now. Broth is still ok but lately new ramen spots have been popping up with broth on par with Santouka in its prime. Good ramen. Large is a good size. Their spicy isn’t very spicy.
Reasonable cost but the toppings they give you are tiny. Rough times for the economy perhaps.

The food is amazing. However, the only reason I gave them three stars, but I would give them less only because of there to go containers. They’re to go containers have been the same since I’ve been a little girl. They’re very cheap cardboard and plastic containers and I’ve had multiple times where whether someone’s going to pick it up or I’m picking it up myself. The soup will always spill somehow whether a bump in the road or something because The container is not...
