It was a pretty delicious tempura bowl. The soba was the worst, so I recommend the tempura bowl.

Went with the classic set menu #1. All of the tempura came freshly fried. Good ingredients, both seafood and veggie, for the tempura. Rice was soft and bouncy. Even the miso soup was good. Everything in the set was delicious.

Whoever was working on 2/19 General C at around 12 PM needs to get a promotion! She was SO nice, smiled, and provided wonderful service. I dont think ive seen better service as a customer before.

The food is good but not worth a 50 minute wait - they do not know how long their wait times will be don’t believe what they tell you

What has happened to you? I can't believe that the quality of your food has become terrible. I moved to this area several years ago, and your tendon was one of my family's favorite dishes. However, I've noticed a change over the past couple of months. Today, I visited your shop for a dine-in lunch. We ordered one okonomiyaki and tendons. Unfortunately, we had to stop eating the okonomiyaki after just two bites due to a disgusting chemical smell and the dish being severely overcooked to a black color. I immediately informed your staff, and they acknowledged the strange smell. The quality of the tendon tempura has also declined from what it used to be. It seems something may have happened in your kitchen and with your quality control.I don't want to lose one of our favorite spots in Bergen County. Please check your kitchen situation and make improvements. I can still smell an uncomfortable chemical odor from my stomach. I hope this information is helpful for making your store better

The food was great, warm and crispy outside & soft inside. It is much better to dine-in than take-out due to the fact that it’s fried food. However, it needs to train its employees better, as they looked distracted and didn’t even bother to call my number although it was ready for more than five minutes before I asked them if that’s my order.

First of all , I don't normally write up any review and especially any negative comments as I understand it is not easy running a business now .a story short, just passed by this place after work ONLY for their tempura done (DINE IN).they gave me in a paper take-out box. I told them i ordered DINE in NOT take-out. they said--oh...we went out of tray and bowl but it is the same food inside...well...presentation matters that is why I came all the way for fresh cooked fried food.I opened it...food was small portion and messy like a leftover doggie bag. I took the food back to the counter politely. They still said it is the same thing and "what do you want me to do , sir..."I TOLD them if you guys went out of tray and rice bowl. Asked me if you still want my food as "take-out", don't just pack my fried food in a box.. it will get steamed soft right away.they gave me my refund , I thought it was it..a few minutes later, the old guy ordered after me.. magically, his food was in a bowl but NOT mine..I came for their food and I walked away with NO food from them and full disappointment sorry WONT come by again...

Get number 3. Anago eel, egg, shrimp, vegetable and pepper. This is the tempura bowl you want. I get this almost every time. Sometimes I’ll get the shrimp with egg one but anago(salt water eel) is really good and rarely seen fried

Good spot for a light Japanese lunch. Recommend that you dine in instead of take out. This is the type of food you should eat fresh. Curry udon was nice. More simple than I thought as it appears they just dump curry sauce on top of a beef udon bowl. It wasn’t bad though. Miso soup was good too. I will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Food, even considering the usual buff of picture, is well.. a bit too far off. Wouldn't come here again. Service-wise, asexpected of any food chain like McD.

I got the shrimp tempura and eel rice bowl. The rice was very mushy and overcooked. The tempura was bland. The eel was void of taste. The meal was a disappointment.

Once loved this place, but getting worse.Portion of sushi is getting less, even not enough to finish rice. ground tuna was not worth to eat as it was not fresh at all.Disappointed and never back.
