Cool World
Back in the U.S. and we had to come back to our favourite place. Get the picture, cold weather, nice music, beautiful trees outside. Hot steaming coffee and steamier hot pizza right out from the oven! Family owned, fresh ingredients and magnificent people working throughout the store! AK and the gang at their best!

The pizza was good but very tomato-y. I like my pizza cheesy, which is a preference but the pie was so red you could immediately tell just by looking at it that it had a lot of sauce and not much cheese. But it was good. My husband loved the fluffy crust.

These guys are awesome! Service was A1, they accommodated any request I had. There was some miscommunication, and without hesitation they even remade a pizza for me. You could tell the ingredients were fresh, crust was crunchy not floppy at all and the sauce was fire 🔥🔥🔥! I recommend the spicy honey with pepperoni!!!

Top remarks for this spot!! I moved into Edgewater almost two months ago and passed this shop every day. I was also told to visit this place after another recommendation. Not only do I wish I went sooner, but I was greatly impressed by the staff’s willingness to answer questions about the menu and friendliness. Absolutely amazing pizza. Always made fresh. This place never disappoints. I’m from South Brooklyn and we have the best pizza.. until I tried Urban Tomato. Try the spicy honey chickens tenders they are the best too!

I don’t understand how this place received a rating of 8.1 . Their pizza is a 5 at best. We ordered a cheese pizza and it came out in less than 10mins, which was surprising. The pizza was warm despite the waiter claiming it just came out the oven. This was clearly a reheated pizza. The pizza has no flavor the cheese is low quality and the tomato sauce is barely seen. The cheese was reheated so bad it became a part of the dough. Every pizza that is made FRESH to order should have cheese pulling apart with every bite not fused with the dough. This explains why the restaurant was empty. My son ordered a chicken parm sandwich and was presented with about 90% bread and 10% chicken. The chef couldn’t even take the time to evenly cut the bread down the middle so that the chicken could be put inside the sandwich. Instead they cheap out on their portion by cutting it down 1/3 and making it appear that the chicken is overflowing when in reality it’s not. If they truly take pride in their establishment, how could they allow the food to be sent out of the kitchen and presented to the customer in such an utterly disgusting fashion. They will not survive by cutting corners and scamming customers. Clearly, the effect has already taken place, it was a Friday night and the restaurant was empty.
