Supposedly this is a Northeastern Chinese place, and I'm originally from that region. It's quite good, authentic. The interior also makes me feel like home. Been there a couple of times and it has ever really disappointed me. Recommended

Great bbq. Love their food, but not the price... BTW if you pay by cash, they'll give you a tax free.

Very rare Chinese bbq place. It's authentic and Strewers are pretty good! Price is reasonable.

Doesn't look much on the outside but great bbq. Different style of bbq where the skewers are spinning. You order different meats and get them in different number of sets. You can order other dishes to accompany them as well.

Such a cool experience, shows that this place has great potential. The location is pretty cool, the method of cooking is amazing. But the service is what throws it all off. The staff is not really helpful in terms of translations or assisting with what to order. We have to use Google translate the whole time and somehow we were convinced that there was only meat no sides. Which seems pretty odd. Quality of the meat was pretty good, the actual marination was well. Over call mix it amazingly juicy and tasty. But overall experience is just degraded with the service and them not being so helpful

I lovedd the food and the experience at this restaurant! It is slightly hidden from view (behind an auto shop) but I'm so glad that I found it! I ordered a good amount of skewers and although some were "spicy", they were actually very mildly spicy. Also, the seasoning is so so good (fyi It's not that spicy at all). The meat cooked nicely and evenly (because they rotate), and you can take them off the grill depending on how cooked you want your meats to be. However, I don't think you will be full just by eating the skewers so I recommend either getting some rice or another dish!

A fun little place for Northeastern Chinese/Korean food. The skewers were good, the grilled squid was delicious, and the 夫妻肺片 was my favorite! The potato pancakes were good too but they were even tastier after dipping them in the grilled squid sauce. It is a bit pricey, but it's a nice place to try for something new and the little grilling table they have is kinda cool to see as a first timer. Just be sure to switch which skewers are in the middle and which are at the ends or the ones at the end won't cook all the way through.

being chinese i grew up eating skewers! i LOVE skewers! 8th ave sunset park used to have the best ones! can't say that they're good anymore though after the unfortunate passing of the owner of the stand. this place has a good amount of options for skewers and comes with the spices on the side so you could add more to your skewers. the food itself is pretty good too. but be warned that almost everything is spicy so if you can't take spice then this place is probably not for you. (it's not even that spicy) - but my mom can't handle spice and she was dying 2 cons about this place: 1. the service. the service here lacks. it's 2 mandarin speaking ladies - so knowing mandarin helps. if not service is just not great. 2. the grill in my photo is how we cook the meats and it rotates it's so cool! but only the middle ones cook the ends don't but that cud be because the coal wasn't hot enough maybe? they only refilled it once. overall though i would come back for this unique experience and good food

Looking at the reviews, I wasn't sure what to think, but a friend recommended it so we tried it out. I'm personally not a big fan of lamb, but the lamb leg was surprisingly not very gamey. The BBQ grill was also fun to watch (it rolls back and forth rotating the skewers). The menu offering is a lot of dishes and meats from Chinese-Mongolian cuisine. If we had the opportunity, we would return.

We made a reservation at 6pm with a group of friends. We ordered a brunch of skewers. The server just put everything on the table. We asked her what skewers was on the plate, she was very inpatient with us. We asked for tea, she gave us tea as we sat down but went we ask for refills, she tells us there was no more tea. Ok, then give us water. Nope she did not even want to give us water. Service was so terrible that I was speechless.

This is the best Lamb/Beef BBQ I had in the east coast. They use real charcol fire while no fire from gas/propane, you will have authentic taste from meat. Food is great, customer service is average

Came here after a whole day of outdoors climbing. The food in here is amazing. You order which set of skewers you want to self BBQ and DIY. A major disadvantage is the grill space is very small and it could only fit 8-10 skewers making the whole experience slow and tedious. I almost died of hunger The skewers were well made, but they were a bit tiny in terms of portion. We ordered lamb, chicken livers, intestine, tofu, beef, and other. The fried buns were delicious. The veggies dishes that we ordered were all delicious and awesome If I were the restaurant owner I would increase the size of the grill. This would definitely help out in cooking faster

I came here for lunch on a Saturday afternoon with a group of 5 people. The place had more seating than I expected. You could bring large groups here. We ordered a bunch of meat skewers: signature lamb, Xinjiang lamb, beef tripe, beef tendon, and pork intestine. We also ordered the sweet and sour crispy pork and the potato pancakes. The skewers were delicious and I really liked that the grill automatically rotated the skewers. You can also add as much spices to the skewers and cook it to your liking. The sweet and sour crispy pork was more on the sweet side but wasn't overly battered at least. I was not a fan of the potato pancakes since they were bland and not crispy. They instead had a strange chewy mochi like texture. It was a fun experience overall and I would definitely come back to try their other skewers.

Very bad experience. They used mop to clean the chair in front of you, even cleaned the chair where we were sitting while we are still eating. Also swept and mopped the floor around us. Will not go there anymore.
