Went to Akbar restaurant earlier this month for lunch. I tried one of their newly introduced lunch thali. I could write a book is how I felt after having just one of their selections available. A delicious lunch dish which included meat, veg, naan, salad, soup, & rice and priced perfectly. 15 miles out for me, but looking to visit more often as it’s worth the drive wether alone or with someone.

Absolutely loved everything about this experience! Staff went above and beyond to provide fabulous service, the actual building is absolutely stunning- beautiful fixtures and a soothing fountain, and omg the food! We will definitely be visiting again.

I had my Indian engagement hosted at Akbar Hall in Edison NJ. The hall was both large and aesthetically pleasing. Rohit, the manager, was amazing at helping organize the entire event, responding to all my questions via call and text, and providing great service throughout the function! The food there was delicious and I would highly recommend Akbar Hall/Restaurant to family and friends for both hosting events as well as a nice place to eat
