I hate to give a negative review BUT our food was nasty, flavorless and overcooked, Im sorry I didn’t order from our regular Peruvian spot Uncle Ralph’s whose food is delicious! Never ordering from Al Toque again, our food and money went in the garbage.

Found this Gem couple days ago via DoorDash and we are thrilled. The food is fantastic!!! I can see my self being a weekly regular. That's how good they are. I highly recommend.

DO NOT GOOOOO.I received a text saying my order was ready for pickup. Went inside, and waited 40 min, only for the guy to tell me turn me away. 3 people left while i was there for their orders not being ready! Insane!

Peruvian food was sounding really good while.i gazed from across the street while getting my nails done. Used the yelp/grub hub app to order my take out since I knew it would take about 30 minutes for the order. I placed the order at 5:35 pm and it was ready by 6pm. I'm so glad I used the app because there definitely was a language barrier. I ordered the lomo saltado and a side of maduros. From the pictures the lomo saltado looked a lot more saucy but when I opened the box the entree kind of looked dry. I guess the rice soaked up all the goodness. While taking bites of the steak, it was hard and kindy of chewy. Even when I gave my cat a piece, she hesitated and didnt want to eat it initially. Overall taste was ok, but I was kinda disappointed with portion of meat as well for that price point. Maduros were super yummy, crispy outside and soft on the inside. My husband was glad we tried it but most likely won't be returning any time soon.

A definite hole in the wall gem! Their menu is simple, and their chicken is amongst the best Peruvian chicken I have ever eaten. Came in for a business meeting, and had no problem getting my hands dirty on a half chicken with fries. Yeah, probably could have gone with the salad, but fries it was. Great price, great food! Don't expect much with regards to decor or ambiance, you'll be coming here for the food only! Personally, I'd like the option of some homemade style hot sauce, but you can't win them all...
Im sorry service was bad chicken was mildly cold to have come out of a fire oven. Fries soggy management somebody hire some cooks..

Where to start? I ordered beef chaufa from door dash and received shrimp chaufa. I am allergic to shrimp therefore I had no dinner and had wasted my money. I quickly called the restaurant and they made me drive all the way to the restaurant to “exchange” my rice. The woman on the phone repeatedly said on her end it showed I ordered shrimp chaufa and it was not her fault but my receipt said otherwise. When I arrived to the restaurant I asked to see her end of my order and it clearly showed “beef chaufa”. The woman did not show a bit of remorse or try to accommodate me in any way. I came home and opened my food only to find that she still got my order wrong ! I received and chicken and beef chaufa in the end. Safe to say I will NOT be returning.

Will not buy from this place again, what kinda lunch special that comes only with french fries and chicken but no rice ? That was not explained to me when I called , I called complained and they did not accept their mistake, other Peruvian places will include rice and even a soda for the same price, I guess the customer is not always right here, good bye . Also they got my phone orders wrong all switched up.

I will not order from this place anymore, what kinda Peruvian restaurant that offers as a lunch special chicken and french fries with no rice ? When I called to complain I was the one wrong here , I guess customer is not always right at this place , so for them not to accept their mistake or apologize good bye , will not come back . Other Peruvian restaurant will not only give you rice with your lunch special but they will also give you a soda , now I do not mind paying, but at least admit to your mistake and you LL give you another chance. Also all my phone orders were switched up.
