Bad experience for lunch buffet . Staff does not smile, does not listen.
Cold food,
had to wait even to get plates.
Cold tea and coffee.
Missing meat in curries.
Over priced as per food quality and experience.

Food without intent, repeatedly. Been to other ammas kitchen locations and have been fairly satisfied but this one is a disappointment, consistently. Should be close in our personal opinion. Restaurant basically stands for nothing. All menu items have issues
Editing in 2025 : Came back to this place recently it has gone completely downhill. The food lacked flavor, extremely oily and prices were high too. Revising my review to reflect current state. Do not recommend.

We ate at the new restaurant behind Puja Hut and the food was delicious. We opted for the unlimited non-veg meals on banana leaf and the flavor of each dish was outstanding ! The pomfret fish fry and mutton thalapakattu biryani were my favorites. Service was great and reminded us of dining back in India. Great value for money. After tasting the same flavors with exorbitant costs over and over again at other restaurants, Amma’s Kitchen is like a breath of fresh with the homely flavors at such reasonable prices.

Small and loud place. People are running here and there, no line for food just jump in. Place is so loud that one can’t enjoy food or have a little talk with ur partner.

I ordered the breakfast combo.
It had one idly, a vada, plain dosa, pongal, sambar, and chutney.
The food was good, and the service was quick.

Restaurantji Recommends
Food was really stale, and it was clearly looking like they heated all the week days left over and dumped them in the buffet. The fish was very bad cat fish. The couple of chicken and goat dihes they had all very stale. The veggie dishes were equally stale as well, except dosa and one sweet dish.
Wont go again.
