Review: Applebee’s Came Through Thanks to (Pretty Sure Her Name Was) Stephanie
Stopped by Applebee’s the other night expecting a regular chain-restaurant situation, but honestly? The real MVP was the server — I think her name was Stephanie. If it wasn’t, someone in there is definitely giving off strong Stephanie energy, because she crushed it.
She was quick, on top of everything, and actually seemed to care. Drinks stayed full, food came out hot, and she handled the whole table like a pro. No attitude, no disappearing act, none of that “I’ll be right back” then vanishing into a black hole. Just solid, reliable service that made the whole meal smoother.
Food was classic Applebee’s: good, predictable, hits the spot when you’re hungry. But the service? That’s what made it feel like a better experience than it probably should’ve been.
Bottom line: 4.5/5 — shoutout to maybe-Stephanie for carrying the night. If that wasn’t her name, someone please give the right girl some credit.

The ambiance is lovely and very cozy, which we really enjoyed.
However, the food was disappointing. * My partner had the salad and loved it. * I ordered the chicken, shrimp, and mashed potatoes. The sauce was too salty and hard to finish. It had onions in it, which would have been nice, but it was mixed with the overly salty sauce, making it difficult to eat. * The cocktails were tasty and served in huge glasses. * We also had popcorn chicken as an appetizer, and that was delicious.
Overall, it was a good experience, mainly due to the setting.

We as Veterans were treated like royalty from the moment we walked in. Staff told us, “thank you for your service”, and there was a table set up to honor fallen soldiers.
Zia, our server, was just delightful and gave great service. Vito the manager checked to make sure everything was good, and both our steaks were delicious and perfectly done.
Thank you, Applebees, for honoring Veterans with a free meal on Veterans Day!!

Waited 5 min at the host stand and never even got acknowledged. The workers just stared at us. I would expect anyone to just come up to us and let us know they were busy with something but it was half empty.

Worst experience I ever had at an Applebee’s. The service sucked. The food sucked when I talk to the manager she didn’t even care or taking consideration about our complaint. It took 35 minutes to eat our food when we asked for extra drinks. It took another 15 minutes because the waitress forgot and we had to remind her, I originally ordered a Sprite and a tasted like stagnant water. I will never return to this Applebee’s again.

Thank you to the female manager 1-25-25 Edison 3:30 ish who spent a great deal of time trying figure out my gift card. Super kind and patient! Fyi...figured it out finally and me and my bff will be back for sure! Server and entrance staff were just so welcoming. ps....Quesadilla burger was perfection! (:

I will never forget the first time meeting, my hope to be future wife almost 6mos ago to the day here at the halfway point between our houses, The waitress we had was very nice and could tell we were on a first date so she left us alone at onw point i even told the girl I appreciate you giving us space to talk and I made sure to tip atleast 15 20 for just sitting there to talk, plus there was a little issue with our language barrier meaning she spoke and understood some English but not 💯 percent which i could careless either way, we already talked for 3 weeks before this it was just first time ever meeting anyone off of a dating app and I've been struck, because I can not stop thinking about you Julia 😀
