Great food here! I had to drive 40 minutes to get here, but the food makes it worth it! The service is great, the fish is excellent, and the atmosphere is friendly. The restroom is clean, but the only problem is the opening hour is a bit late. Overall, great experience. Would definitely come back again. Possibly the best fish soup in NJ.

I visited this restaurant with two adults and one child, and we were seated at a tiny two-person table even though there were clearly empty tables available. When I politely asked to be moved to a larger table, the manager told me that because we ordered a “two-person set menu,” we could only sit at a two-person table.
This experience was extremely disappointing. It felt like the restaurant prioritized profit over customer comfort. It also felt disrespectful — as if a child doesn’t count as a person or doesn’t deserve a proper seat. Being told that our choice of menu determined the size of the table felt discriminatory and unreasonable.
A restaurant should care about customer experience, especially for families with children. We left feeling unwelcome and ignored, and we will not return. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because no family should feel this way when simply trying to enjoy a meal.

They decorated the store unlike others. Spacious dinning room with comfortable sofas. Clear and clean lines throughout the dinning room.
We ordered a set of fish with in pickled vegetables soup. You have a choice of 4 different flavors. From spicy to mild. It comes with 2 side dishes and 2 bowls of rice.
Dishes were pretty good, not overwhelmingly spicy. Sides were refreshing for the cucumber, drunken chicken was soaked in the sauce. Should be very good.
I like the store front settings. It's a good place to relax and chat while having the soups.

The service is very bad. We checked its web for the schedule. It opens at 11:30am which is displayed on its door. We arrived at 11:23am, but we were told their schedule was changed. They wouldn’t open until noon.
