I used to really like this mall. I just went to the movie there and the mall has turned into a “has been” mall. The stores, restaurants and cleanliness has all gone down.

This is a large establishment with high-end liquors on the bar menu. The dishes may not be completely authentic island cuisine, but they are delicious. For me, the empanadas stood out.

We came here for happy hour on a weekday. The place was empty and the drinks, food, and service was excellent. We can’t wait to come back!

I was looking for a particular book that just came out and on line it was in stock. I went there and asked an associate and he pointed me in the right direction. We searched shelf and shelf and came up empty handed. We asked another associate and he also came up empty handed. I love the book store but I should have just ordered it on line.

The only time I see B&N bustling is around the holiday season. 'They' say that people don't read books anymore. I don't think it's entirely true; however, I suppose some readers might agree that B&N has gone out of style over the years. For instance, in the Edison location B&N still features a huge area entirely devoted to DVDs and CDs - forms of media which increasingly become irrelevant to consumers with each passing year. The advent of technological development has overtaken the usefulness of paper books. Even the professors from my graduate school program studies (circa 2020-2022) elected to use digital textbooks for 85% of the curriculum coursework. Perhaps brick and mortar B&N stores ought to inject a new retail experience into their business model that involves the offline-to-online and online-to-offline offerings (i.e. digital kiosks in stores)

Have not been here in a really long time. Well maintained mall. Has some unique shops, things for the kids to do, several full restaurants, we chose the Cheesecake Factory. We visited specifically because of Macy's. Needed dresses and they have the best selection around. Worth a visit if you haven't been.

Nice size Barnes & Noble, two floors, Starbucks inside, plenty of seating to enjoy your coffee or bakery treats, employees are helpful, but access to the mall, which kind of sucks, you have to go outside to access the store. Great place to kill some time while waiting for reservations. Parking is small around this area, so it might be a little walk. Overall it's a regular Barnes & Noble.....

I don't care if this review gets flagged. It must be said. The bathroom is always trashed, even before the pandemic. Not all stalls lock either. When I went there the other day, there was dried blood and pee on the floor, paper towels and toilet paper everywhere. It just seems like the pandemic never happened in their minds and all covid safety precautions have gone out the window. You would think they would at least try to clean more than 1x a day with all the people traffic, but they don't. They don't even have a paper towel dispenser. There is a large soggy roll on the counter for everyone to touch. Don't go here if you are trying to stay safe. They also have the escalator off, which is bad if you have any physical difficulty going up stairs. No limits to the elevator or mask requirements. I'd rather shop online.

My wife and I visited Havana Central on a whim while at the Menlo Park mall. As a sit-down restaurant, the dining room was spacious and well-appointed! The furniture reminded me a bit of an elegant diner, but the decorations, music, and atmosphere conveyed pre-revolution Cuban culture. The service started out well with our server being attentive as we were seated and ordered promptly. It became spotty once we were finished and wanted to pay and leave, which took approximately 15 minutes before we actually waved down our server and she stopped long enough to process our payment. The food was excellent! Empanadas and sauteed kale and garlic for appetizers were outstanding. I had the salmon and camarones and my wife had the camarones ajillo. Both, excellent! Along with our terrific margarita and mojito, it was a very good lunch notwithstanding the overly busy wait staff. See pics of the restaurant and food!

I would not recommend this for ANY occasion. Their description says "a true celebration of Cuban culture". I must be confusing Cuban with some other culture, because this was not it. The place feels "cold" and empty as you walk in. The hostess (or whomever the person at the entrance is) was sour faced to match the altogether vibe. It took a long time to get attention of a bar attendant, while we waited to NOT to be notified when our reserved table was ready (we arrived too early). When one of us asked for a coconut rum in her drink, she was told they were all out. After the confusion settled, it was discovered Malibu was what she meant and the "bartender " only knew it by that name. When our 3 sad looking drinks arrived, they were accompanied by 1 straw. My easy stroll to the other end of the bar fixed that (as 2 employees behind the bar watched unapologetically). One non-alcoholic "passion fruit" aka sour pineapple smoothy and 2 small alcoholic o.k. drinks came to $34 + tip. Once seated, I've ordered garlic shrimp that was recommended by a friend with 2 sides. It was a small portion of an unappealing looking meal. The best thing we've tried there: small pieces of Mexican street corn. Four mediocre meals and 3 appetizers- $120 + tip. It's a sad place with sad drinks and sad food; sour faced hostess and an incompetent "bartender ". The only thing there that had a hint of Cuban anything, were stacks of hats, often associated with Cuba, in a glass case and a faint sound of Latin music. I'm sorry to have forgotten the name of our server, he was a sweetheart.
