One of my worst dine in experiences ever. Every food item we ordered came in 20 minute intervals of each other and the food was cold and just not up to the mark. The people running the place weren't apologetic about the poor service either instead retorting that such a long wait is standard service time. Wouldn't recommend at all.

order a chicken tikka biryani , it was stale and smelly too. Never going back again, guess they just keep on serving biryani prepared till it finishes no matter the days. I wonder how this place has 4 star overall. I also see so many reviews of food being stale or smelly which is absolutely true for this place. If u visit this place when they prepare fresh batch of biryani u might feel lucky. otherwise get ready for tasting the stale food.

I have been going to this restaurant for many years, food was excellent but now it's so oily,salty and have mentioned few times,they don't seem to care,and at the same time so expensive too, need to change the chef and the management.

My first worst experience with Bawarchi at Edison, NJ. We are group of 3 and ordered vegetarian and Non vegetarian items. I have ordered a vegetarian starter and they have served and then after eating a byte, I have realized that it is Chicken and I tried communicating with them but no courtesy they have just replaced and just said a sorry. When I got the bill, I have charged for that. I have asked the person about that and he said the kitchen people are responsible and not him so he charged. It doesn’t make any sense. We pay to Bawarchi not for individual people. I am attaching my bill of 72$ and I demand a refund for the bill because of the attitude and behavior. Else, I will definitely add all the food pictures that I have and complain to the forum about the cross contamination of the food.

Worst food overall. We have ordered Apollo fish, tikka biryani and chicken schezwan fried rice. Apollo fish appetizer was tampered in ghee and is not dry. Forget about chicken tikka biryani for which they added Malai in tikka and sauteed that tikka in some curry and added some flavorless rice on top of it. Chicken schezwan fried rice which we ordered was medium. Even medium level was too spicy and has too much of veggies instead of chicken. Me and my kid are biryani lovers. She had only few bytes and done, it's just so bland. Overall very bad experience
