Nikki did an outstanding job on my picture cake. We were all completely blown away at how good it came out. The attention to detail was so apparent in the way the pic was touched up before using, because the quality of the original wasn’t so good (it was a screenshot off an internet pic!). Who would’ve thought a picture on a cake would be clearer than an actual picture?!!! Nikki’s pre-questioning was especially noteworthy because she made sure nothing was arbitrary, asking me about color scheme, flavors, design. She arranged it all and I SO appreciate it. The presentation was incredible. Thank you again so much. I am already looking forward to the next time I will get to call upon Nikki and Carvel, Edison, NJ to make us something special!

My girlfriend and I came for some ice cream after a day out and the staff member at the register was giving us dirty looks while we decided what to order, giving us attitude when we asked questions about how many scoops came with the particular menu item, and then gave my girlfriend the wrong toppings and didn’t apologize. She also did not tell us that the toppings we ordered were extra, we only found out when we got the receipt. Terrible experience and will not be returning to this location.

I got an ice cream from a lovely young lady named Anaiah. She was super friendly and listened to me talk about my long day at work. Honestly made my day! She even told me about her boyfriend who she seems super in love with. The ice cream was amazing. The floor was clean. The staff was friendly. This carvel is hands down the best carvel I’ve ever been to. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve read these reviews about our “little Carvel ice shop” that’s located in Tano Mall, Edison NJ and I’m pretty surprised by some of them, Every time I’ve ordered a carvel cake or one of there “specialty holiday items” for a celebration of many different events be it Birthdays, Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas or just because it’s ALWAYS been a fabulous cake … It’s always been FRESH & DELICIOUS … we are definitely a family who love’s carvel cakes … I did something different for my husband’s 70th BD this time(8.6.24) instead of picking one of there prepared cakes I actually had one personally designed for him …. I wanted it to actually resemble “US as a Family” in stick-figures … “JEN” the young lady who was taking down what I was describing was YES, I can do that for you! Not only did JEN design the scene on the cake her artist touches were spot on from the people, the kids, the pups and our house … JEN I can’t thank you enough, the cake was perfect, it was fresh, delicious and was so much more then I expected … we had 30guest at RuthChris Restaurant in Princeton and the highlight was your CAKE …. Thank you from the bottom of my heart … see you in September for another delicious design ;)

Very big disappointment. Ordered a custom ice cream birthday cake for my son's birthday with specific ice cream flavors. They lost the order slip and do not have the required cake on the day of delivery. So I am now forced to pick one from the counter as I do not have a choice on the day of birthday. Complete failure of management and they do not even feel sorry for their mishap. Pathetic management.
