Very mid experience.. staff seem uninterested in serving basic things like water. Sunday buffet had maybe 4-5 vegetarian options and 3 dessert items. Taste was nothing great. Not worth it for the price being charged. Don't think am coming back here.

We visited this restaurant for their lunch buffet on a Saturday, which costs $26 per person, regardless of whether you choose vegetarian or non-vegetarian options. Kids aged 8 and above are charged the full adult price.
Unfortunately, the vegetarian options were very limited, and the food quality was average compared to other Indian restaurants in Edison, NJ. For vegetarians, the buffet felt overpriced and underwhelming.
Overall, we didn’t feel it was worth the cost, especially for vegetarians. Sadly, we won’t be returning.

This is by far my favorite indian restaurant in NJ. When this restaurant first opened several years ago, I was not too pleased with the food and overall experience (short staffed, over-crowded, cold food, super small portions, etc).
Since then, I decided to give it another shot couple of months ago, and have returned multiple times for dine-in and take out. No disappointments, whatsoever! Chef’s table has options for everyone including those with dietary preferences. I highly recommend their lemon coriander soup, chicken chops and of course butter chicken (best in town!). However I’m waiting to try their kulfi, but it’s always sold out by the time we order. Also, their courtyard is so pleasant and a lovely spot for a date especially in the summer.

Weekend lunch buffet was good. Classic indian food plus indo chinese dishes and Mexican food with Indian twist (Mexican bhel) was included. All dishes without exception were tasty. Number of dishes were adequate but not overwhelming. Service was ok - couple of reminders to replenish water bottles on the table but dirty dishes were being taken away from the table promptly. Decent spread for the dessert (3 options). Fruits were fresh, Tiramesu was great but moong dal halwa was too sweet. Good racial mix. Finally, ambience was good. Place did not smell of Indian spices so it was good. Highly recommended specifically for groups with multi racial members.

The food was very average as compare to other Edison Restaurants which serves amazing Indian Food. A la carte was very slow during lunch Buffet hours, had to wait almost 30 mins for food. They apply a 18% gratuity by default just for 2 people, which very few restaurants do. There are definitely other better options which not only serves good food but are value for money too.. unfortunately won’t be a repeat customer..
