Still surviving. Been going here off and on for years, but will need to go more often since my more local dive Ritchies/Dannys has finally been sold. But we still have the Nut. Years ago I best explained the “charm” of the place to a friend recalling the first time I went there. Told him as soon as I walked in I noticed a properly intoxicated senior citizen in the corner with an oxygen tube selling/offering slices of a pizza out of his box while a bunch of guys are trying...
Great dive bar. Felt like I was at home, except there was a jukebox, shuffleboard and pool to play! Great prices. Outside food allowed. Beer ice cold. Welcoming staff and regulars. <3 Will be back!
My friends haven't been out since their son was born 2 months ago and this was the perfect spot to go! Played a few rounds of shuffleboard (2 pool tables as well) put some money in the juke box, no kitchen but we got pizza delivered...all around good vibes :) FYI cash only $$$
