Long time chipotle fan. One could call me an expert having eaten at this chain across the good 'ole U. S. Of A.
While my very expensive and hot wife was checking out, the cashier made her extremely uncomfortable. It starts with the age old question of 'how old are you' not a question one would expect when paying for the food. Which quickly devolved into aggressive advancements and asking out, which was more of a demand than a question (between you and me).
I wasn't sure at what point did chipotle become a dating simulator but can someone get this organization sexual harassment training. I felt harassed and I wasn't even in the same building.

★☆☆☆☆ Absolutely Soul-Crushing – Menlo Park Chipotle (Edison, NJ)
Do NOT come here unless you hate yourself and have several hours (and a chunk of your will to live) to burn.
We made the grave mistake of showing up for their “BOGO” offer, which apparently translated to “Buy One, Get One… eventually, maybe, if we feel like it.” The line was out the door and barely moving. After one hour and thirty minutes of standing like cattle, we finally reached the front… only to be told they were out of both types of rice AND all vegetables.
“White rice will be ready in 3 minutes,” the employee said with the confidence of someone who has never seen rice cook in their life. I literally set a timer. 32 minutes later there was still no rice. The vegetables? Never materialized. Not even a single sad piece of fajita pepper appeared the entire time we were trapped there.
Behind the counter were seven employees achieving new levels of organized chaos. Most just stood there staring blankly at the empty pans like they’d never seen them before. One woman kept wandering out from the back every five minutes to poke a thermometer into the meat (the only thing they actually had) as if temperature-checking chicken was the sole reason the store existed. No one was refilling anything because, well, there was nothing to refill and apparently no one knew how to fix that.
How do you run out of rice at Chipotle? How do you look at a 60-person line for a nationwide promotion and think, “Nah, we’re good on rice and veggies tonight”? How do seven people employed at a burrito shop collectively forget how to boil water?
We eventually got half-assembled bowls with cold meat, a spoonful of beans, and whatever toppings they hadn’t run out of yet.
This was our first time back in years. It will be our last time ever. I left feeling like part of my soul got left in that line. Menlo Park Chipotle didn’t just waste two hours of my life; it performed a ritualistic draining of my life force.
Zero stars if I could. Avoid this location like it’s contagious.

Do not eat at this chipotle. We stood in line starting at 4:05. It is now 5:08pm and we still have NOT received our food. There are 7 employees and they have not created enough white or brown rice to keep the line moving. So there are just 6 people staring at 1 person cooking the chicken/rice. I’m not sure what the protocol is, but why is no one helping that one person? Rice is the STAPLE of all these meals.

They works are absolutely lazy. It took them 15 min to get through 5 people. There was barely a line and I was waiting because they were just talking and messing around. The guy who made my bowl who was apparently a certified trainer barely gave me any guac at all. The chicken had no seasoning as well. The food was mid at best but not worth 16 dollars. I would give this place a 2 and half star but the service was so bad that I give it a one

This chipotle is hated by so many mall workers including me. I order a kids meal thinking that it will be a quick and easy pickup, instead it took 15 minutes!! When I get there I could see why, there was one person doing pick up orders and she was moving EXTREMELY SLOW. I never complain about wait time but she was moving so slow I felt like she was doing it on purpose, I was better off ordering in store! Not to mention that on top of her moving slow the lazy woman on register kept demanding her to get things for her like cups and lids. Like are you serious? She just stands there and demands instead of doing it herself, it’s obvious she hates her job. This is the same lady I have had terrible experiences with before, idk how she still works there. This place is always messing up orders and have even given me rotted lettuce. I go out of my way to not order here.
