This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had at any restaurant in New Jersey. The meat was undercooked, and the food overall lacked freshness—it seemed like it was just reheated in an oven before being served. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries tasted the same, resembling a basic tomato curry.
We chose to visit this place based on the positive Google reviews, but it now seems those reviews were misleading. We shared our feedback with the staff, but they simply said, “That’s how we serve everyone,” which was disappointing.
Despite the high prices, the food quality was far below expectations. In fact, many smaller restaurants around Oak Tree Road offer much better food and value than Deccan Spice. It was a letdown for our entire family, especially since we were celebrating a special occasion.
It was very nice experience I had in Deccan spice they have so many options in Indian cuisine I like the chicken 65 , chicken lollipops entree butter chicken is too good and our sever micky is very attentive

Had an amazing meal at Deccan Spice! The biryani was flavorful, the momos were spot-on, and the chilli paneer was perfectly spiced. The lamb chops were tender and delicious. Big shoutout to Pankaj for excellent service! Highly recommend for great food and friendly vibes.
