The food has changed quite a lot since the last time I was here. Not value for money. I would do myself a favor next time and prefer another place over this.
Great food, good quantities, and attentive service.! Pankaj and Mo were very prompt in their service.

This used to be my go-to Indian restaurant but the quality has declined significantly. The dishes no longer have the same freshness or flavor they once did, and the taste has become very disappointing. With so many other Indian restaurants nearby offering much better food at more reasonable prices, I can’t recommend this place anymore

The food was amazing. Service was okay. Service definitely needs some work. For example, miscommunication between what we asked for and what we got and having to check multiple times with multiple servers for one item for over 30 minutes which was supposed to come originally with our food. We also overheard table next to us waited 45 minutes for their food. Overall the experience was good
Most horrible expecive experience. No one knows what to do. No one comes to take order properly. Brand new staff. Manager walks with phone hanging like garden. Bartender reads recipe to make drinks and may be she won't find ingredients than order canceled without notification. However bill came with dishes we didn't even order. 2 hours wasted and we left. Never ever going there again.
I booked this restaurant for a business lunch, but when we arrived, it was closed and no one answered the phone. I was very disappointed, and it put both me and my client in a very awkward situation
I went to dine on a Friday night. Most items on the menu were sold out by 7:00 pm . The server advises the restaurant only have chicken no goat or lamb. Since Indian's food is mainly known for their well seasoned meat, they should have more options. Overall, I left that night still hungry.
Panjak was amazing. Will be back here soon

Amazing lunch. All dishes taste great. Pankaj service is good.
Worst restaurant I have ever seen the manager is very rude ..
The glass was smelly. One of the chicken special dish was not so good and it was spicy

I had an excellent experience thanks to Ranjitha and Omar! Ranjitha was extremely attentive and warm throughout, and Omar ensured everything was served perfectly and on time. Both were professional, friendly, and made the whole visit memorable. Thank you for the great service — highly
This was one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had at any restaurant in New Jersey. The meat was undercooked, and the food overall lacked freshness—it seemed like it was just reheated in an oven before being served. Both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian curries tasted the same, resembling a basic tomato curry.
We chose to visit this place based on the positive Google reviews, but it now seems those reviews were misleading. We shared our feedback with the staff, but they simply said, “That’s how we serve everyone,” which was disappointing.
Despite the high prices, the food quality was far below expectations. In fact, many smaller restaurants around Oak Tree Road offer much better food and value than Deccan Spice. It was a letdown for our entire family, especially since we were celebrating a special occasion.
