Creepy Uncle Dave here. Today I went to the Tex Mex Deli in Edison. The food was amazing! I tried a burrito that was out of this world. Apparently this was a new entry to their already sprawling menu. My boss once told me that if I never step out of my comfort zone and try something new I will never taste success. At the time I was pretty sure the only success I was going to taste was the sweat from my forehead seeing as he wanted me to dig a 200 foot trench by hand. Anyway, this was a shredded chicken burrito stuffed to the hilt with chicken, rice and beans, then smothered with MOLE, MOLE, MOLE sauce. Sorry, if you know you know. My coworker had the birria tacos that looked equally amazing. They must have been good seeing as he didn’t even offer a taste. This isn’t a white tablecloth establishment but the food definitely has potential. I’m sold! I’m definitely coming back and I think you should check this place out too. Tonight I found myself working on an ambulance for Edison EMS. We just got done with a call and we found ourselves on the south side of Edison, it's 8:30 and we are hungry when we came across The Edison Tex Mex Deli. I wish I got the guys name behind the counter. He treated us like we were family. The restaurant was clean and the pricing for food in comparison to what you get is unbalanced like I've never seen.
Basically your dollar goes a whole lot further here. The amount of food that you get is enough to feed at least 2+ people. The quality is really good. Super flavorful.
I tell you what. I WILL BE BACK FOR MORE EATS!!!!!!!

First time trying this place out yesterday and the food is absolutely AMAZING and DELICIOUS! So much flavor! Customer service and delivery guy is super nice! If I could give more stars I would. It was so good, we had to place an order again today! This is a hands down must try now restaurant. Thank you for taking care of us.
