I ordered ice cream affogato very often here. They offer “choice of” different flavors of ice cream and toppings you can choose to add. However today they just add bobas on my ice cream without my permission and make me to pay double the price to get another one without bobas. The one with boba which I also paid——is in the trash bin????
Love their mango pomelo so much. My colleges in DC also loves their HK style milk tea, lemon black tea and butter bun! So last time we bought A Lot! Recommend and will come back again
I recently discovered Fresh O' Tea in Edison. They brew fresh teas and use freshly cut fruit. It's never been too busy when I’ve visited. Here's what I tried:
- Red bean milkshake - 4/5 stars
- Cheese Foam Black Grape - 5/5 stars
- Pineapple buns heated with butter - 5/5 stars
- Kiwi Mango Green Tea - 5/5 stars
- Creme Brulee Milk Tea - 4/5 stars
- Grapefruit Orange Green Tea - 4/5 stars
- Pineapple buns heated with fresh taro - 4/5 stars
All their teas are freshly brewed, with a focus on tea-forward Hong Kong teas. My husband was surprised by how strong the tea flavor was in my HK Creme Brulee Milk Tea without sugar; he thought it needed 30% sugar. The tea uses evaporated milk, giving it a luxurious creme brulee taste. Surprisingly, they don't offer milk substitutes.
The staff are very friendly and make excellent recommendations if you are ever unsure of anything. They do take pride in making their drinks for you as they explain they brew their own teas and there are no powers utilized to make their drinks and snacks. There aren’t many tables, but there is a stage with available seating. Since it wasn’t busy during my visits, I had my pick of seats.
Parking can be tricky, but there’s more parking in the back, which is safer and makes it easier to pull out onto the street.

Our most Favourite tea store in the neighborhood- only because they have so many unique flavour that we can’t find anywhere else such as "陈皮柠茶" and taro egg tart . This is the only one that our kids like for Asian style drink including the home-made yogurt with mango. Highly recommend afternoon tea time here.

The manager here has a clear vision for the store and is very good at curating drinks to the customer. I find this location the best tasting Asian drinks place in NJ. The staff are very well trained and seem chill and friendly.
Really refreshing taste with fresh fruits and decent portions. Snack selection is limited but the pineapple bread and egg tarts seem popular. There is no WiFi.
There is a single room bathroom on premises
Parking: Parking behind the building recommended for ease and safety. Parking in front is a pain to get in or out as it’s one line of diagonal parking a few feet off Route 27

Ordered Hong Kong Milk tea and it wasn't good.
Won't come back to this place again. There're many better options in this area.

I think they should control the taste. Sometimes it is great, sometimes it is a nightmare. Maybe it is because there are different person preparing the tea but they should train everyone well before they make the tea for customers

Golden Brick Lemon Tea is very strong and good
It would be great if a drink variety with lime could be developed, because after drinking a lime➕yellow lemon drink, it feels like a perfect match

The Hong Kong milk is great, the kids love the milkshake, and the tangerine peel with extra thick frozen lemon is also amazing. The boss's service is also great ?, more than five stars.

My favorite place in the area for Hong Kong style milk tea and the expected Taiwanese bubble tea options. All their tea is really high quality and they’re usually not too busy on weekdays when I like to come in and take some meetings or write emails for work.
The HK milk tea rivals anything you can get in Manhattan or Flushing without the 1 hour trip. If you’re a boba addict this place is a game changer. Great service and ownership team!

A few tables for dine-in, didn’t get a chance to try their snacks yet but highly recommend their HK milk tea and aged lemon tea. The aged lemon tea is definitely much stronger in tea flavor (they said they use Assam tea), and I appreciate that they use a few more pieces of lemon to bring out flavor as well.
I also got the chilled HK tea in a bottle (and the aged lemon tea mentioned above) and it’s as close as it gets without the flight to Hong Kong or the trip to Canada. Needless to say, I will be coming back for more HK milk tea!
