Pathetic food. Yesterday we ordered 555 chicken, chicken noodles, Rasam Idly, guntur Karam dosa. Service was so bad. It's too much late we waited for half hour for food and food came after 3 times followup . 555 chicken is average. Noodles was super spicy we got swetting, only few spoons were taken . Vada is not fresh and fried properly , Rasam was too much savor and very bad, no pepper was added in it. Guntur Karam dosa was over roasted and more burnt. Prices also not worth guys.

I’ve been to Godavari for the first time today. I tried 3 dishes and trust me all 3 were disgusting mainly the Biriyani only tastes clove powder.

The orders are taking a lot of time to get ready. For both dine-in and online orders.

Attended a birthday party in the party hall. In buffet very slow refilling, good business tactics to reduce the food consumption. Food is very spicy and not suited for kids

The poor taste, presence of hair in the food, unpleasant smell, and subpar mango lassi indicate significant issues with both the food quality and hygiene standards. It's definitely advisable to avoid this restaurant given these concerns. It's important for restaurants to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food quality to ensure a positive dining experience for their customers.

Vegetarian options: No paneer, mushroom and baby corn included in veg varieties. No egg varieties. I would not recommend for vegetarians. We got hair in one food item. Usually water bottle should be given free for buffet. But they charge us $2 for small water bottle.Hospitality is good while entering the restaurant but while paying bills don't expect the same. Chicken biryani tasted like yesterday left overs. Too much oil in crispy corn and few other items. Overall experience is not good.Dietary restrictions: Too much oil in few dishes.

3/15/2024. Worst service. Improper handling of phone orders. Focused service for Alcoholic's and smokers than normal customers. Order by 9:15 PM EST made to wait until 10.45 PM EST just to hear that order was misplaced. Sad to see people were waiting already for 1 hour to pick up the phone order.Need great improvement in service handling. Really sad to write this review.

A huge disapointment. Godavari used to be our favourite South Indian restaurant to order from, so was particularly excited to have dinner there. But never again we'd go there. The orders had to be placed online. That is a phenomenon we are watching from the covid days. Paper menus not being available, and that's okay and understandable. But the kitchen and the online ordering system have absolutely no co ordination. The first round of plates that were laid out in front of us were visibly dirty, with one having hair on it. When notified, the waitress replaced the plates, but one still had a broken edge. We waited and waited for food. Then my husband felt that to get the food, possibly we need to pay online first. There was no one to ask. No one around. However, after he paid, the server came to us and said "no beetroot halwa sir, finished sir!" Having already paid for the halwa, he asked whether they could replace it with something like gulab jamun. The server nodded in the affirmative and left. There was still no sign of food. After waiting for almost an hour only one dosa came to table, when asked 'which one is it?' the waiter simply answered 'dosa!!'. Which one when asked he looked completely lost. All of us three had ordered three different kinds of dosas! Again the wait almost made us forgot exactly what had we ordered. Another fifteen minutes later they brought out the 2nd dosa and when we had almost finished our meal they served the third one. They even never offered us water or any drink. If we needed to pay for drink, we would have done that, but they should have said that! The icing on the cake was the stale, rotten sambar they served with the dosa. The dosas might have tasted OK, but we were so agitated and infuriated that we decided to leave without finishing the food and even waiting for the gulab jamun. If giving zero or negetive stars were an option I would have given that! The worst part is, no one seemed to care. There seemed to be several employees just hovering round but it was unclear what their roles were. Except the lady who changed our plates and appeared somewhat apologetic when we could not hold our annoyance any further, no one seemed to care.
