I will never visit here again. I ordered a Dahi Papdi Chaat,specifically asking for it to be sweet,because I struggle with chilli spice. The server said it comes with sweet yoghurt only. I asked for Sev,and I was told it was $2 extra. The chaat comes, and it has chilli chutney in it..DESPITE me asking that it not be put. The amount of Sev given for $2 was minuscule and laughable. I get a sop of extra yoghurt and sweet chutney..both of which don't help the basic chaat. And no effort to remake it..because it was their error.The icing on the cake was charging full price for the item...without an apology. I couldn't eat 1/3 of the dish.Badly done..you just lost a customer

I recently dined at Honest Restaurant in Edison and had a fantastic experience. We ordered Paneer Tikka(Starter), Chinese Bhel, Dahi Puri(Chat), Paneer Toofani and Paneer Angara gravies with Chilli Garlic Naan. Bothe the gravies were delicious, especially Paneer Angara is recommended for spicy food lovers and Dahi Puri is very refreshing.The service was excellent, but it's best to avoid late weekend hours to skip the wait.Overall, Honest Restaurant in Edison is highly recommended for its tasty dishes and great service.

Server Asked us to pay before even food was in plate and requested to leave as soon as last bite done from plate. Means plate was still on table when he asked us that we should leave. What a great old Indian style service !!! May not come here again…..Indian restaurant service in India is at next level but in US it’s going down !!!

Spice levels and the food quality changes significantly depending on the day you pick. Ordered a set of items for delivery today and it is almost inedible because of the spice level. The only thing they had to say when we called was this is regular spice we serve when that is not what we experience when we go in person.

It’s cheating.Also they have increased roti prices saying due to increase in wheat whereas other Honest dine in provides it in less prices. Other chains don’t get expensive grains?
