We ordered a big birthday cake recently for my child's birthday from Hot Breads, Edison. The cake was so so bad in taste that none of the guests ate a second piece after the first bite. Some of them couldn't consume even the first bite. Had to throw away the entire cake. The cake tasted so so bad. I paid $100 for the cake. They also insisted a buy a 5 pound cake when I didn't need such a big cake. Also the cake appeared very unprofessionally made with bad writing and the border decorations appeared uneven. It appeared that someone inexperienced worked on the decorations. It was disheartening to see the guests leave without eating even a small piece. I didn't expect this and will never order from this place again.

DO NOT GO…. They accept only cash and no cards, with Cash also their prices are very expensive. Also they would not accommodate anyone who do not have cash even as a courtesy , They will just keep the items back. Your bad attitude is going to cost you all your customers one day as Customer service and respect is more important that any food you have in offer.
To the store owner: Please add a big Cash Only Board on the entrance, so no one wastes their time by entering in your shop.

The place is in 1980s still and only accepts cash. They have a big working machine at the counter but refuse to use it. Very rude staff working there with no manners or respect. Don’t bring your business to this shady overpriced low class food.

The wide range of breads whole wheat, multigrain, white bread, soft sandwich loaves, sweet buns, and flavorful aloo buns showcases true Indian baking craftsmanship. The rich fruit and plum cakes adds a comforting, traditional touch. Dense yet moist, packed generously with nuts and dried fruits, and finished beautifully it feels homemade but elevated, perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Recently bought a mixed fruit cake (pineapple, kiwi, strawberry). Paid a hefty $250. Half of the cake is cream and you can barely find fruits — some kiwi and then dried cherries. They also charge cash which they probably don’t pay taxes on. This place needs to shutdown for poor quality food and investigated for tax fraud.
Bakery timing is Incorrect. They close before 8pm itself and advertise the timing as 8.30 here and 9.on sign board outside the shop. Not professional at all

I have tried Hot breads in several PA locations and wanted to try this. Located inside a big strip mall, parking is tough, but you will get it. This is located with several other food places within the plaza; however this will contain unique options of pastries, bread varieties. I believe thats their specialty. Interior is well maintained and the cake demos kept are outstanding. There are tables present !! We ordered 6 pastries and as you try to select it is tough to locate in the flavors. The staff tried to mix it and then we requested the flavor description and got Mango, Blueberry, Strawberry, Black Forest, Pineapple and Butter scotch. Extraordinary flavors!! Service could be better as you need to figure out things on your own.

It happened twice to me that I felt they sold something before you could think. The kids say the cake is super soggy and the biggest suspicion is the quality may be messed up. Yet to try the cake
