Not the fanciest place, but very reasonable and the food was amazing - especially the specialty sushi items. The non-specialty sushi was a little bland. They also gave us a dish on the house without us asking and it was great. Presentation of the food was solid as well. I would highly recommend this place.

When I browsed Kenpachi’s menu online, everything I was interested in looked like it probably had something containing gluten, which I can’t eat. But then I saw that other reviews claimed the restaurant is very accommodating towards gluten free requests, and it really is! Not only did the waitstaff let us know they could modify anything to be gluten free, but the space was small and intimate enough (but not obtrusively so) that the staff and chefs were all within earshot to be attentive to our needs. I was able to order exactly what I wanted the way I liked it, communication was smooth, the food was delicious and the staff were so friendly and welcoming, it was obvious they care about the people they serve and providing them a wonderful experience. This place is a gem and I’ll be going back for sure!

Kanpachi Sushi is such an amazing place to eat! It is very small but what they lack in space, they make up for in delicious food and excellent service. The sushi was very fresh. We had a variety of items. My favorite part of the meal was the mini Godzilla roll. It was by far the tastiest thing I’ve eaten in a while. The staff is so friendly and the atmosphere is very peace. Overall, it’s a great place to go.
