Beware: If you are ok with a food establishment that kicks bagels around as if they were in a soccer tournament.
I have gone in weekly to get bagels for my office and continue to witness rude behavior from employees taking orders. But just recently I have noticed that they lack cleanliness. Walked in on Friday to pick up bagels and witnessing bagels getting kicked around was absolutely appalling. When I asked staff about this, her response was even more appalling. She simply said that it was not my problem and that I should mind my business. I grabbed my bagels and disposed of them when I got into the office.
Decided to give them a another try and once again it was a bad experience. Ordered 6 sandwiches, when asked her to repeat order, she rudely responded that she got my order and refused to repeat it. Order was picked up and sure enough, sandwiches were missing items or made incorrectly and we were 1 sandwich short. Called in and person who answered phone was not apologetic at all, just said she would give me the items that were missing from sandwiches and that I can put them on to sandwiches myself, when asked about incorrect sandwiches she again said ok and moved on. As for the missing sandwich she told me I would need to reorder it and pay for it.....again!

Definitely go to the other LA Bagel! This location has very rude employees, and none of them speak english! The bagels are good though, and have lots of seeds!

I did not get the greatest service today. They are popular but not the greatest service. They do give a lot of food. I wish them the best. Some are nice but I don't think I can't come back after one one staff just was really rude. I loved this place before. I use to recommend it to other people. Please bring some kindness to this store.

ON 12 /15/2024 Customer look for another Bagel shop..I know this happens to you too..went there again this morning NO Bagels some guy buys all of them had 14 bags of them in his car None for the customers he buy them all to feed them illegals plus them workers always has a attitude ..same thing happened last week ..Drove 5.5 miles to go there..no more went to bagel bazaar in piscataway ..go there they are very nice and bagels are better..this happens alot at la bagel ..Made a complaint Before the owners made excuses for there action..go to another bagels shop were they want your Business..

Im just going to get right to it. The ladys are super rude , service is slow , they dont go by the prices they show on their menu and they tend to always mess up an order due to lack of paying full attention to the customers . This has happened EVERY time i go there . They talk about the customers in spanish among themselves and assume nobody understands what there saying . They are extremely over priced for the quality of food they serve and besides the breakfast potatoes, nothing has flavor. Its just bland and disappointing. Its a waste of time and a waste of money . Ladys stay off your phones , especially where we can see yu while theres people waiting to be served . Your losing business, Will not be going back .

Decent bagels, although they're a bit dense. Croissant is not very good. Texture is isn't right. More like a loaf of bread in the shape of a croissant than a croissant.

Spacious, no seating, but the service is fast and courteous which goes a long way. I liked the cooled drink selection, like there is Kombucha here for example or iced coffees as well for those who want something like that. Chocolate milk. The breakfast platters are consistently good, like a shit ton of food for $10-12 or the basics for $8-9 with meat.

I’m not gonna lie the bagels at this place are ver good, My only complaint is that they handle money and your food with the same gloves. I was there the other day and asked the young lady to please change her gloves she gave me total attitude and told another woman to ring me up, I told her I would pay when my bagel finished being prepared, She then was talking about me and smirking. I finally paid and left upon arriving home I decided to call Edison health department to inform them of there actions. If you witness this behavior please report them this is to health department ASAP!!! WASH YOUR HANDS AND CHANGE YOUR GLOVES!!!!!! Also leave your kids home they should not be running around behind the counter not very sanitary!!!
