Had time before picking up gear and stopped in for lunch. Had a Pastrami on Rye double meat. The sandwich was great and the price even better. 12 bucks for the sandwich and a soda. I will stop there everytime I'm in Edison. It's 5 minutes from my site.

Went in a asked for the hot dog special with a side of onions rings! And this is what I received… over cooked onions rings! Who would eat this let alone go back for lunch!

Made a order came 20 mins later while everyone was standing inside talking with a closed sign couldn’t acknowledge I was outside with a order wasted my entire lunch didn’t get to eat beyond that they never have any bagels maybe one or two joke of a deli

Today was my first day DoorDashing and I knew there would be ups and downs but nothing prepared me for this one. This was my first ever order and right off the bat I was hit by an attitude because I’m not the Deli’s priority. Then, after waiting about 20 minutes for my order, I hear this man, that I assume to be the manager, yell out to the cook in the back, “Get this lady in line her French toast first. I could care less about the doordash order. They can stand here all they want for all I care.”. Honestly, I didn’t even know how to react after hearing this as it was my first order but this service is completely unacceptable and I hope it can change for future delivery workers. I understand that deliveries are not always the main priority, but don’t publicly announce that you’re basically worthless because at the end of the day, we have to work too.
It would be nice if notify google that you was closed VERY inconvenient smh

The deli is off the beaten path- but worth it! There is a small, but clean and decorative dining area with T.V.s. and a few tables to sit outside. I have been trying to find a deli offering breakfast sandwiches that are worth the price. I found it! I ordered a pork roll, egg and cheese on a roll. The food was prepared quickly and fresh from the grill, they did not skimp on the meat and the fresh eggs were cooked perfectly. I was very happy with the taste and price. For around $6. I got the sandwich and a fresh coffee - any size. The bonus was the cashier/staff was very friendly and pleasant. This was my first time as a customer and I'm happy I found it. The sign says 'under new management' - I'm not how long the 'new management' has been there- but I would definitely recommend Main Street Deli & Grill from my experience.
