This place use to have great tasting food but once they started using this fake beef or steakums type meat it makes every bite chewy.

This used to be a good spot, and the food was always good, but this time the food was bland, and I asked for beef and chicken teriyaki, which what the server laid out on the grill, did not look like beef at all. It looked like a piece of ham that took a few seconds to fry, and they made it look like it was steak, very disappointed does not justify their price increase for not serving real beef! I won’t be coming back here anymore.

I am a big fan (and judge) of poke bowls and Maki of Japan at Menlo Park Mall’s food court is definitely worth the money. I’ve had several available in this vicinity. Great combo of toppings, generous portion of fish (I had the tuna/salmon combo) and what distinguishes theirs from others is the nice shake of smoky flakes on top!

This in the Menlo Mall Food Court. The teriyaki was made fresh in front of us and was delicious. The staff were very kind and I would definitely come back! The Menlo Mall Good court is very lacking but this is a hidden gem among it.

By far, the worst chicken teriaky I've ever had. And the rolls are a "bad taste joke".

$7.99 for a chicken teriyaki. Fried rice is an extra $0.50. They don't tell you upfront there's an upcharge. Just be aware. This is basically a copycat of Sarku. It looks the same but the chicken is actually not as flavorful. Also, Sarku has the tasty grilled flavor on the chicken that is lacking here.Overall, not a bad price for a quick bite.

Cheapest Sarku knockoff I've ever experienced. Sauce costs extra, a bag costs extra, portion sizes are ridiculous for the price they charge. You can't grab your own napkins or utensils because they're controlling how much customers take (wouldn't even give me 1 extra fork), and doesn't serve TAP water????? Cashier claims machine is broken but they can sell soda, so that's a blatant lie, the same machine that serves soda serves water. Never coming here again, this place is trash.

They charge for literally everything! Even after you purchase the food you got to pay extra for hot sauce, soy sauce smh, an extra empty container even a plastic bag they charging and the lady/cashier was not pleasant at all throughout the purchase, I go to similar restaurants all the time they are nothing like this nonsense place , I’m surprised they did not charge for the fork and the napkins ….this one is the worst

My friend and I ran out of ideas on what to eat for lunch, so we came here to eat instead. The staff: They do not say hi to you and wait until you walk up to place an order with them. The lady was friendly, but she gave us two sodas' when we only wanted one. They make the chicken, shrimp and noodles right there and then and is not something that is already pre-made. Chicken Teriyaki with noodles: The chicken was cooked all the way and had flavor. The noodles were a little bit salty this time; they may have put too much soy sauce on it. The vegetables only had flavor due to the noodles.Shrimp with noodles: My friend said the shrimp was cooked all the way with no shells. The noodles had a lot of taste also giving the vegetables some taste as well. Overall: The food here was not too bad for some mall food. We might come back here again if we cannot figure out what to eat again.

Great poke bowl. Normal mall food. It's hard to say anything.

Worst place ever!!! I ordered 2 poke bowls one for me and 1 for my sister, we both got the raw fish. Disgusting!! they sell spoiled fish!! we both had stomach aches all night and didn’t stop throwing up. I will never eat there again!

I've been eating Japanese style cuisine for a long time, but the shrimp teriyaki was so b-l-a-n-d; portion size was good though.
