Enjoyed it for more than 20 years. It has changed ownership during that period. Same good food and service!

The best Asian food in Central NJ. Always immediately seated, Always very attentive and have never been disappointed with our meals in dozens of times we have visited for dinner.

This chicken is still pink. I ordered the white meat sesame chicken. First bite was fine. Next two pieces were raw. Had to throw out. Totally unacceptable and I live too far away for return it.

They deserve no stars but thats not an option. We just left here because there was bugs (Weevils) in our food and it was in 4 different plates of food and when we told them and showed them they took it to the back and came out and said it's not bugs, we then showed them all the other plates and left.

This is a throwback to the original Asian-American cuisines. If you are looking for those classic dishes, you can get decent versions here.

First time here and it was actually recommended by a sweet old lady I was speaking to on a train ride back from NYC. I bookmarked it and made sure that I would visit since it’s not far from where I live and where I usually hang out.Walked in on a Thursday night and while the dining room wasn’t busy, there were quite a few people waiting for their takeout orders. Dining room was clean and and well-kept and since it only had a couple of occupied tables, it was quiet. I’d imagine this place gets packed with patrons during lunch considering Metropark is within a half mile and is probably busy Friday nights too.I grabbed a takeout menu and briefly looked it over. I noticed there were no dinner combo specials and decided to double-check with the host and see if there was an incremental charge to make the lunch combo a dinner combo. Host said they do not offer dinner combos and I would have to order a quart of what I wanted. No biggie.Since I haven’t had Chinese food in a while, I was craving some chicken and broccoli with white rice (I usually go with the brown but wanted some Jasmine rice), and fried/steamed chicken dumplings, which they had.Man what a great dinner! The chicken and broccoli was cooked perfectly and was still hot by the time I got home. I laid it on top of the steamed rice and enjoyed every bite. I finished the entire quart in one sitting including the steamed chicken dumplings. The chicken and broccoli was TOTALLY worth it but to be honest, I was hoping the dumplings were going to be the bigger versions stuffed with chicken. The cost of those dumplings didn’t really add up and I felt like they were the wholesale club version.All-in-all I will definitely return for takeout!

The very regimented service was slow, in spite of being the busiest I’ve see it, with three servers, the service should’ve been better and at times was non existent. We waited for water refills and requested soy sauce and got an empty decanter.Didn’t appreciate that the server assumed that we were Muslim and didn’t eat pork, perhaps because we’re brown. Bad assumption, never asked that at any other Asian restaurant. The Beef with broccoli came out luke warm and was cold in no time. Would have preferred hot food at dinner time!

Have been going over 15 years. Downhill now. Ordered general tso chicken on Friday, horrible. Soft and doughy. I had to put in air fryer to crisp up. What has happened, very disappointed.

I used to go to this place for years when I worked over in Iselin. What happened to Meemah? The place has changed since they got new ownership. They are not friendly. The greeter was unwelcoming to me and 1st time guests. The waiter was rude and snatched the menu from my hand and more over they over peppered my food because the food was too spicy to eat. And the quality of the chicken was spongy. I would never go there again. If I could give them Zero stars I would. So sad, it used to be nice.
