I cannot express enough how tender, delicious, and fun this experience was. Ive been out if NJ for awhile now and being back, and visiting a restaurant that really only could exist in NJ is so amazing. Everything tender and delicious, a face full of heat, and an experience to go with. Im so full. I cant wait to go home and tell people about the Mongolian BBQ I had in the same building as a tire shop. 10/10 hole in the wall everyone should eat here.

Came for a late night snack for a party of 2 and were seated right away. There are plenty of tables and booths for various sized groups. There is a grill at the table and they bring out a basket of charcoal to grill the skewers on. There’s also a vent that you can pull down to help inhale the smoke and extinguish any flames from the charcoal. Each metal skewer rod has a star-shaped apparatus to help rotate on the automatic moving grill, though you may still need to alternate their positions to ensure even cooking.
We ordered 4 different types of skewers and all were very good! Definitely try their signature lamb skewer. If you like pork belly, I’d definitely recommend trying the pork intestine also.
Would definitely recommend trying this restaurant out if you’re craving good skewers! I’ll definitely return in the future!

I ordered takeout skewers from this place and was really disappointed. The skewers tasted more like they were boiled than grilled—there was no smoky charcoal flavor at all, despite the server confirming they would be cooked over charcoal. The only noticeable taste came from the spicy seasoning sprinkled on top. This was definitely not the authentic Chinese-style barbecue I was expecting.
maybe because is take out? But I ordered take out from another Chinese barbecue place before and they tasted so much better.
FYI all these food is $60. Not worth it.

This skewer place to me is a hidden gem in edison.
The seasoning and meat served is delicious, and the way to cook the skewers is something I’ve never seen before.
I visited this restaurant today. As a Korean who loves Chinese food, I was thoroughly impressed! Every dish I tried was delicious and authentic. The seasoning was perfectly balanced! I’ll definitely be coming back for another visit!

This place is such a hidden Gem please believe me when I tell you. I have lived in this area for a very long time and have always wondered about this place when I sat at the light at 27 and Plainfield Ave. The store is located next to an auto shop the windows are tinted so it doesn’t look welcoming. The other day after visiting the “H” mart lot on a Saturday, anyone who knows the spot knows that it is packed to the max in that complex. It’s a good thing but sad when you can’t get a spot at one of the restaurants. Anyway the sign had Kebabs on it with what looked like the same spices from a restaurant in the H mart lot so I decided to walk in and see what it was about. The place looks dated but it is what it is, they should definitely warm it up or decorate a little. Anyway I take a look at the menu and start to order. The kebabs get cooked in front of you and the plates are cooked in the kitchen. The food was outstanding!! That’s why I say it’s a hidden gem. It was so awesome I returned the next day. So I went Saturday and Sunday. Here is what I ate. The ham and egg fried rice, mutton soup, pig intestine, chicken wings, special beef, special lamb, gizzards, Cumin Tendon, Cumin Lamb and the pork wrapped mushrooms. Everything was so so good I can’t even explain it. You have to stop in and give it a try. I will be going back real real soon.
