I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant for over 40 years (always coming to Moghul when in Edison), but my most recent visit was quite disappointing. I was dining with my son and his family, including two young children who are not tolerant of spice. I clearly requested very mild dishes and even asked the waiter for recommendations that could be prepared with limited spice. Despite this, when the food arrived, both the gravies and the tandoori items were very spicy—far...

Pretty substandard. Cold food…..not the best tasting at all. Had to return the Biryani. Absolutely tasteless. Coming from Canada, it had no comparison to our fine dining restaurants there.

Food was ok - good assortment for a buffet, but from a taste perspective nothing felt exceptional..
Service was ok - went for a buffet so was mostly us getting our own meals
Ambiance is good
Price - felt it's overpriced for a buffet. The thing that bothered me the most was the 20% gratuity (for 2 people) that itself was too much for a buffet.

Will I go again - probably not, just because of the compulsory gratuity!
