The food is just ok! But I like their beverages, especially the 3 colors milk teas! You simply cannot get this milk tea in anywhere beside PappaRich!

I came across this place and thought to myself why not give it a try! The place was very spacious and the service was super quick! I love how you can write down what you want to order and then give the paper to the waitress when im ready.I got the roti canal with curry chicken, braised beef, Hainan chicken, a water spinach dish, and a jumbo shrimp dish with rice noodles. I was pleased with all the food! I especially enjoyed the jumbo shrimp with the rice noodles! The sauce is thick but tasty at the same time! My all-time favorite! I also enjoy the water spinach dish! It also has the thousand-year-old egg in the dish which I found it very unique and it is a great combination with the vegetable. The Hainan chicken was pretty decent! I would say it's not the best but I enjoyed it. The braised beef was too dry for me. I enjoyed the service and the food was very tasty! I will come back again to try other items on the menu.

The flavors and quality of the food are outstanding, do yourself a favor, beef stew and roti canai, thank me later.

Clean and organized. They seem to be low on wait staff though so be patient as they have a lot of customers and it can get busy. Menu has a wonderful selection of entrees, but I do feel that their desserts and drinks deserve more credit. I'd rather come here to get their drinks as there are many unique options containing fresh fruit, ice and other popular Malaysian ingredients. For newcomers, you order by filling out a form and placing it on the cardholder. Press the buzzer to call a waiter over and they will take the order. Waitstaff will not bother you unless you press the buzzer, which I appreciate.

Great first experience at this restaurant conveniently located in the hmart complex in Edison. This sits right on the corner facing route 27 and I can't believe we missed it. We were the first to be seated on a Saturday afternoon. The menu was chock full of pictures which we thought helped us a lot in making our selections.

We ordered the canai with chicken, Hainan steamed chicken set, nasi goreng, penang char kway teow, satay mix, curry powder chicken wings, and tay tarik. The canai with chicken came with 3 different dipping sauces, curry chicken, this yellow sauce, and a red sauce. The roti was crispy and not greasy at all. The hainan chicken was super tasty, even on its own. But we loved the ginger sauce it came with. There was also a sweet soy sauce and a red sweet sauce. The curry chicken wings were just ok, nothing special. This is something that can easily be made at home as they only fried the chicken and then added curry powder afterwards. The beef/chicken kabobs were tender and went well with the curry sweet dipping sauce. Three fried rice i would pass on. It wasn't anything spectacular that i would order again. We also ordered the hot pulled tea. It was a little too sweet for our taste but after adding a little bit of water, it was perfect! The waitresses were all really friendly and overall, we highly enjoyed our meal.

Overpriced, mall-chain Malaysian food. This is probably the only Malaysian restaurant in quite a far distance, so if you have no choice & money to burn, by all means go eat here. However, nothing we tried even bordered on an authentic preparation of any dish. I honestly don't see why anyone would go to any of their locations rather than one of the many great individually owned MY spots in NYC. Pluses: it was very clean, & staff was very friendly, if inexperienced.

Delicious chain restaurant with a ton of seating. The appetizers were delicious and the chicken + rice was spot on. There are so many items to select from that it can get confusing.

One of my first impressions when I came in was that wow, this place is very organized and efficient. They had a good system with seating people and ordering. I went once with a group of 3 people for dinner and then another time by myself and both times I was seated almost right away. Ordering did not take long because after you fill out the sheet, you press a call button so that a waiter could attend to you. I have had the 3 Layer Milk Tea, Seafood Curry Laksa, and the Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and Sambal Prawns. When I was drinking the 3 Layer Milk Tea, the waiter was nice and came over and explained that I had to mix it lol. That seems obvious looking back on it, but I appreciated the tip. I liked how it was not too sweet once everything was mixed together, but I thought there was not that much drink for $4.50. The glass looked tall, but it was thin and there was lots of ice in it so I don't think this drink was worth the price. The Seafood Curry Laksa is my favorite dish so far that I've tried here. It had the perfect amount of spice and the portion size was enough for one person. The yellow egg noodles fit well with the soup. The amount of veggies and seafood was well balanced. The Nasi Lemak with Curry Chicken and Sambal Prawns was enjoyable, but I would have liked more coconut rice for the meat. This dish was not really filling for me, so I think either more meat or more rice would've been better. The chicken and prawns were flavorful and the coconut rice complimented them well. PappaRich is a good Malaysian place, but not my favorite. The prices are a high considering the portion of food or drink you actually get. I would bring my family or friends here to try it, however, so that I can try their other dishes.

Someone recommended me to give this a try and so i did... i went there with my family for an early dinner.. this was an experience i have to say... first you were seated and given a menu and an order sheet... you were to write down what you want (the number) and any memo or special instruction on the order sheet... then you give that sheet to the waiter/waitress who will then bring out your food after... i guess what i mean by "experience" was that i wasn't expect to write my own order down... i mean might as well do a all you can eat buffet?? i am not angry or anything, but though it was kinda weird that's all... haha... the food was good, not like OMG good, it's good... i will eat it again... the price is decent, i mean i will go back for the food, but no much "service" per se... they just take your sheet and bring you the food, and clean your table after... :) just so conveniently located at the same shopping mall as H-Mart, it will be nice not have to move your car and find another parking spot especially in the weekends... ;)
