I am not usually one to complain but I am disappointed in my experience tonight. Due to an on-going issue with DoorDash, users are not able to add or substitute certain toppings for bowls (in my case, blueberries) that the store does provide because they are not available under the customization sections on the app. I often have had to call Playa Bowls in advance to accommodate my requests. (This store also doesn't allow special requests to be written in on the app, which is why I resort to calling each time). I've never had an issue with any other playa bowls location when I call .. but on tonight's phone call, I feel I was met with a certain tone that I did not appreciate. I was told to 'just add it' and 'write a request' even though I explained that I am not able to do so already and I've been trying for years. Then when I received my bowl, it had very little granola, nutella, and fruit; and it was simply missing one whole topping. Now the reason I feel the need to complain is because it was only *my* bowl that came with a lesser quantity of toppings. The three other bowls apart of the order had much more, and this is simply not fair. If for years I've gone out of my way to call for my order, obviously I like it enough to do so and I would think that would be taken into consideration. I understand certain requests get annoying and that employees get busy, but it's not fun for me to call in either. DoorDash/Playa Bowls really needs to fix this issue across the board because my local one did finally fix it. But before it's fully fixed, this location could adopt a better attitude. With another Playa Bowls location in the area that I order from often, I feel I am kind and I am then met with kindness back and the feeling that they care to help out.

Me and my girlfriend came in to this Beautiful place for a nice refreshing bowl of açaí, I have a strict coconut allergy and hope was very attentive and she listed every ingredient and detail that was going into my bowl and let me watch her make it just in case. Stellar service from her!!

This place is my go to spot when I want a healthy, sweet , cold treat ! Not only are there bowls delicious but there iced coffee is amazing ! Not to mention , this specific location is always clean and the workers are so nice and helpful . Leslie is my favorite employee because she makes my bowls taste soooo good ! I highly recommend this location.

I'm so disappointed with this PACIFIC Bowl FROM Playa Bowl,we bought this in Woodbridge Avenue,Edison .. seriously look how empty this look 😳. I didn't notice until I got home with both orders looking like this.. this bowls are pretty expensive to be empty like this.I'm not going buy from Edson again.OH YEAH WE PAID EXTRA TO GET ALMOND BUTTER ON TOP, it looks like they forgot!!!! 😣 SMH, this is extremely annoying. I wish I could give 0 ⭐️
