Loved the spicy chicken and rice. (Asked for spicy and it was) the portion was huge and perfection made rice. I e joyed the potatoes added in and the portions were cut to a perfect bite size. I'm traveling from out of town and since I've ordered twice in 3 days.

There is a perfect broth to rice ratio! I hate when restaurants don't give you enough rice to soak up all the delicious broth. I enjoyed the authentic braised chicken! Just the thought of tender braised meats with a side of rice soaking up the juices is enough to make the days stressors disappear. This is great comfort food so as I eat this I melt further into my chair. I don't know what took me so long to try this. I noticed there's not many photos on yelp, but I can see why. The food was so steamy and smelled so good, I forgot to snap a pic.

The braised beef dish was terrible. The meat...or so called meat was more like fatty gelatinous blobs in a broth that was flavorless. Won't be ordering from here again.

I got the beef hotpit. The meat was some of the lowest quality I have ever seen at a Chinese restaurant. It had Thick chewy lines of fat in every piece. About 25% of each piece was just fat. Never again, this was dog food.

Clearly this is run by a former drug dealer, a very successful one, for that matter. But these days it's all about Chinese food. It's hard not to laugh Pot Master because they basically make delicious Chinese hot pot food and they make it expertly and brilliantly for very good prices. I need to explore more of the menu to see if I can give it 5 stars, but I'm pretty sure that's exactly what it will get eventually, because so far everything here has been delicious, and it's one of the better food stops in Edison out of many many good Asian choices.
Small and straightforward menu. food is definitely made fresh to order and comes out boiling hot so be careful! flavor is very good but texture is a little unexpected if you're not used to eating parts like tendon and gristle. great choice if you want something to fill you up for a long time on a cold and rainy day.

I always pass by this restaurant whenever I am in the area and never see people eating inside. I always see Uber Eats coming to pick up the to go orders. I finally decided to give this restaurant a try. Inside: The inside is very clean and they have multiple televisions inside of the restaurant. They have plenty of seating for the customers but not enough customers to fulfill those seats. . Rice: The rice comes on the side when you order one of their dishes. The rice was cooked perfectly and is not too soft or too hard. Braised pork ribs: This dish lacked flavor for the "Original Flavor". I thought it would at least have some kind of taste to it but it was pretty bland to me. Pork ribs were cooked to the right temperature and was not under-cooked at all. The potatoes were a little hard and I think it would have tasted better if it was a little softer. Overall: This restaurant is a pretty decent place but they should add a little more taste to the "original flavor". The staff members were friendly but looked a bit bored.
