I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. The server "Newman" was incredibly nice, on point and funny.

Absolutely love love love coming here!! We’ve deemed it our daughter’s number one go to spot when we plan days for her. She absolutely loves to come here and so do we. The ambience, the service, and the food are all hits! Newman is our favorite. We love him and he’s one of the main reasons we always come back, period, besides the amazing food. He caters to you, we’re alcohol free and he comes through with delicious mock-tails. His energy and great service never fails and we hope to always come back and be served by him. Thank you RC for always coming through. Newman thank you always because it wouldn’t be awesome (complete) without you! 100 stars

Parking: Rainforest cafe is in the Menlo Park Mall therefore there’s a great amount of parking

Kid-friendliness: They always have a kids menu with crayons, the whole setting and geared towards kids-families with the animal displays light and sound affects, they have a gift shop area as well

Was a wonderful place to celebrate a boys 6th birthday! Service was fantastic, food was great with large portions. And it was just like the rainforest for our 6 & 4 yr old.

Food was subpar and tasted very similar to Bahama breeze. It's a cute restaurant theme for the kids though.

We had a great time here with my toddler who is allergic to wheat and eggs. The manager came out to confirm food that may have been an issue and remedied that. It's always great to find a place our whole family can enjoy

Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids even those with food allergies

We were extremely excited to dine at this restaurant. Walking in it's absolutely stunning and it's very family friendly. However, our first seat was located in a very odd place near the bathroom. It was so uncomfortable we had to switch tables. Then with the new seating arrangement near the elephants, there was an odd smell in that area, but what made it annoying was everyone wanted to see and touch the elephants. I think the seating arrangements should be redone to make it easier for people to take pictures and see the different animals while not disturbing the other dining guests.

Our server was nice and helpful, but we barely saw her. She was swamped.

Onto the food, the food took well over an hour and 30 minutes to arrive!!!! My husband's steak was supposed to be medium rare, but was almost well done and his coconut shrimp was good, but overcooked. My food was overpowered by the curry sauce and fried onions. My daughters mashed potato's had a weird consistency and the chicken was bland.

Im aware everyone's experience is different, but it being our first time it was not a great experience.
