After hearing my friends talk about Rayaki long enough, I decided to stop by after spending the day nearby at Albatross (Edison). It was a Saturday night and it was fairly empty which was great since we got a seat quick!
I had to start with a guava ice tea; anything guava I am ordering. I also got the shrimp bao buns that were the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy. The vegetable ramen with a side of shrimp tempura was my order and I ate every single bite.
Not only is the food good, the restaurant is also decked out in anime which is cool. Parking is free as there's a lot in front. Would definitely come back and try more menu items!

We used to come here alot and then we stopped coming for maybe almost a year. The food used to be pretty good here. However, this last visit, everything tasted off. The broth is not as savory and flavorful, the char shu is not as tender, the noodle is not as tasty. Even the waffle fries tasted bleh. The store has weird orange-ish color light now. Will not be coming back here in the near future.

Came to check out Rayaki for the first time on a Saturday evening. For appetizers we started with the fried sticky rice cakes and gyoza. The fried sticky rice cakes were my personal favorite out of the two. I really love the texture of the rice cakes and the honey and spicy mayo sauce was delicious. I honestly could have eaten that whole plate by myself. As for the gyoza it was okay. I'm honestly not a huge fan of dumplings. So I would personally skip them and order a different appetizer if I were to return. As for my main entree I went with the Black Garlic Ramen. This ramen has Cha Shu (Marinated Pork), bamboo, kikurage mushrooms, red ginger, fish cake, scallions, black garlic oil, pork soup base, seasoned egg. It wasn't too bad and it was pretty filling but I think the next time I may try the pork belly over rice. It wasn't too busy around the time I went which was around 5pm. The food also came out pretty fast so there wasn't a long wait.

The food was great, the atmosphere breath taking, makes me feel like a kid again. It's just a great reminder I group up during the best years when tv shows actually made sense. I will definitely be revisiting there's a few items I'm looking forward to trying.

They said 2 minutes, and I waited about 30
more minutes for picking up. You should be honest.

Great ramen spot with so much more than ramen. They have several types of buns, ramen and teas. You can also add as much or as little “extras” in your ramen for a small fee (as indicated on the menu).
Prices are good too!
I really liked the decor as well!

Other than the anime art on the walls, this place doesn't have much going for it.
In other words, come here for the anime theme walls but not the food, and even then, the vibes are just not here.

Celebrated my child birthday here last Saturday. 1st time my family came here. I made reservations prior because the place is small. The young guy with the glasses remembered me when I came in. He was friendly. The ambiance was good. My child & husband loves anime. The food & prices were fine. The cons: restaurant small, tables too close, horrible waitress. The short lady was sick, coughing alot and a little rude. I believe I got sick from her because I woke up sick the next day. FYI : If your employees are sick, stay home. I didn't even want to tip her because she was rude, but I still did. If it wasn't for the waitress & I believe I got sick from her , my family would have returned. But we're not returning. Sanitary health reasons...

Ramen was ok. Like my local spot better. The pork in the ramen tasted burnt.

Tried Rayaki and loved it! I had the pork belly over rice, a side of cube steak, and cheesecake for dessert. Everything was super fresh and flavorful. The place has cool decor and the service was great. Definitely coming back!
