After hearing my friends talk about Rayaki long enough, I decided to stop by after spending the day nearby at Albatross (Edison). It was a Saturday night and it was fairly empty which was great since we got a seat quick!

I had to start with a guava ice tea; anything guava I am ordering. I also got the shrimp bao buns that were the perfect combination of crispy and fluffy. The vegetable ramen with a side of shrimp tempura was my order and I ate every single bite.

Came to check out Rayaki for the first time on a Saturday evening. For appetizers we started with the fried sticky rice cakes and gyoza. The fried sticky rice cakes were my personal favorite out of the two. I really love the texture of the rice cakes and the honey and spicy mayo sauce was delicious. I honestly could have eaten that whole plate by myself. As for the gyoza it was okay. I'm honestly not a huge fan of dumplings. So I would personally skip them and order a different...

The food was great, the atmosphere breath taking, makes me feel like a kid again. It's just a great reminder I group up during the best years when tv shows actually made sense. I will definitely be revisiting there's a few items I'm looking forward to trying.
