The food here is incredible, and the Bakhri is amazingly done. I had the Thali lunch special and the different Subzis were my favorite. Definitely a great stop for Gujarati dishes.

This spot which was previously home to Punjabi Kitchen or PK's is where the Royal Kathiyawadi Restaurant now stands. We stopped for a weekend lunch and tried the limited thali. Each thali comes with farsaan, dessert, four chapatis and daal rice or kadhi khichdi. One can pick two out of three vegetable options. The food was finger licking good and pretty authentic. The limited thalis where the warm fulkas just keep coming in are an absolute delight. If Gujarati and specifically Kathiyawadi cuisine is what you're looking for, this is a must visit place. It is a pure veg joint and has sufficient parking. The place is good for small or medium sized groups.

Not a very fancy place, but a very simple, place with authentic Gujarati food. The food was authentic, very much like home tasting and good. On the other hand service was slow and took a while to get order. Seating is limited. Was good to visit once but there are other better options in Edison area to try.
