One of the best restaurants that serve chili cheese garlic naan. Tastes similar to being in India! All their food is great and we have been going here for a couple of years now. They never disappoint.

I’ve dined here at least 25 times in the last 2 years. This restaurant is a 45 minutes drive from my place but it’s never disappointed me! The food is totally worth the drive (and the tolls!😅). They have very consistent taste and quality - which is super rare with Indian restaurants here in NJ. The sardar at the desk and all the staff are super sweet; I’ve always found them really courteous and professional. When it comes to food, I can’t remember a single instance when I felt that the food didn’t hit the spot. I’m not a north indian and I have no particular biases towards North Indian food but this restaurant ticks all boxes and if we head out to have North Indian food; 8/10 times we head to Sher E Punjab. I’ve tried most of the items on their menu and I’ve found everything great. My top 5 would be the aloo tikki chat, tandoori chicken, bone-in chicken curry, goat biryani & paneer tikka. Their tawa rotis are also amazing! I hope more people discover this restaurant♥️
This review is for the vegetarian food we took from this place and not for anything else. We had ordered Dal Makhani, Paneer Burji and Sarso ka Saag, Veg Biriyani and Garlic and Paneer Naan..along. With Tava roti..Except for Tava roti all items were absolutely tasteless and no salt in any item and they all tasted bland and stale at some point.. I HIGHLY do not recommend anyone to consider getting vegetarian food from this place...It's a high amount of disappointment and not taste !!!

This place has fairly good food and also multiple vegetarian options. The roti’s are very good and freshly made and the prices are decent enough, but I didn’t like the sarson da saag at all but dal was good.

This is another small no-frills Indian restaurant in Edison. Have been here a few times. Food is pretty good. However I feel the cutlery in which they serve the food can be improved. They serve all the food is paper plates and bowls, which can get a bit messy sometimes. Else I have no complains here. One star reduced not for the quality of food, but the manner in which it is served.
Sabzi was good. The quantity was below than other restaurants, may not be enough for two people. Biriyani was okay. Naan definitely better and soft. Need little improvement in Biriyani.

I hope i can give it in negative. The owner doesn’t know how to greet the customer. I ordered chicken tikka masala and it feels just tomato sauce added and then they changed it and added more water and gave the same. Also when I said about the same at the counter the owner says that your taste is not good.

The food was good, however, the person at the register/taking order was extremely rude. Obviously it's a semi self-serve restaurant so we have to go to the counter to order. We were a group of 6+ people, so obviously we won't be able to order everything at the same time, plus not enough sitting is always an issue, but that can be overlooked, but attitude while taking order was to the next level. Extremely disliked their service. We tried to order 3 more masala papad since he gave it to the wrong table and they already ate those, but he kept refusing to accept that or take order for 3 more. Its like we are willing to pay but he refused service. Kept stating give order at the same time, like yes we gave order but you delivered it at wrong place. Now correct it by taking a new order, but did not budge and did not take order after that. We got the rest of the food, and were satisfied by the taste, but the service extremely bad.

One of the best Punjabi Indian restaurant in New Jersey. Authentic flavors and reasonable prices. My favorite subzi from here is the Dal makhani. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for authentic indian food at a reasonable price.
Me and my Mom wanted to try this Place we order their Aloo Gobhi, Paneer Bhurjee and Kadhi Pakora. We asked them to make it Spicy. The food was delicious. Naan was so Soft and tawa roti tasted like Homemade. We were so happy they made the food according to the spice level requested unlike some restaurants . We will return for sure
