We had the pleasure of hosting several matchmaking meet-up events at Dhaba Edison, and it has consistently exceeded our expectations. The restaurant's ambiance creates a welcoming and relaxed environment, making it ideal for fostering connections and building meaningful relationships among attendees.
A special mention goes to Raj, the owner, whose professionalism and warm hospitality have made our experience truly remarkable. From the very beginning, when we organized our first event at Dhaba Edison, Raj went out of his way to assist us. Despite a lower-than-expected turnout, he not only accommodated us but also refunded our deposit—a gesture that truly speaks to his commitment to his customers.
Additionally, every time we’ve held a matchmaking meetup at Dhaba Edison, Raj has always been there to help with the buffet arrangements, even when we didn’t have a confirmed number of attendees. His support and flexibility have made organizing these events much easier.
One of the standout features of Dhaba Edison is its delicious and diverse buffet, which offers a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes. So the food was cold here in the buffet chicken isn't spicy, and the fries were stale cold. The atmosphere was ok, it was lively but the food is just not that good. The service was ok, but overall, don't waste your time and money here, because the food is cold and not that tasty.

An abysmal experience right from the moment we stepped into the so-called restaurant on Oct 19th 2024. Everything at fault - courtesy, hospitality, food, service and ambience. There was no staff to direct us to where we were supposed to sit. After a while we had to request one of the staff passing by to take our order. While finalizing the starter order, upon asking the concerned staff about the spices and vegetables used in certain common dishes, they had no clue, and they admitted on several occasions that they were new and were not aware. We appreciate their honest and naive response, and I don't blame them BUT it's the management who is the real culprit who does not give proper and adequate training, direct these young staff to attend to the customers directly without the know-how. We ordered some starters including Pakoras, Mix Grill and juice after consulting one of the manager. We waited a long time, during which several reminders were sent to them but to no avail. We could see that Mix Grill and juice that we ordered was taken to some other guests table and being served. The other customers denied having ordered it and returned them. They took it back inside the kitchen and brought it again only to be served to another customer who also denied having ordered. We were watching all this mishandling and were bemused, frustrated and at the same time experiencing the blemish and blunders being created out of mismanagement. We finally had to intervene and get those lost foods to its rightful owners. The pineapple juice or rather pulp was not even at room temperature. Hence, we requested some ice which was provided after 30 minutes and that too after 3 reminders. We were informed that all soda's were at room temperature hence we did not order them. Mix Grill was supposed to include lamb chops but was not present in it. Upon asking, they found out that the cooking staff could not locate the frozen lamp chops and hence they were not included. That was nasty....... That's it. We decided to settle and leave. While we had already settled the payment and were about to leave, a supposed manager or his deputy brought in Pakoras that we ordered 1.45 hrs. ago. We refused to accept it which was not liked by presumably the manager - Mr Raj. He seemed to be exhibiting his unhappiness and was overheard informing his staff not to entertain us. This shows his arrogance and if he is the manager, it's a wake-up call for the management to show him to door since if he continues to do so, it would be curtains drawn on the business. Make that arrogant guy understand that your's is a service industry and you have to be polite and courteous at all times. On the contrary, even after having so many issues, we did not retaliate and exhibit our frustration for the pathetic service and food itself. That's why , you get a big Zero star from us. This was my second visit to the weekend buffet at Dhaba/Kings’s Banquet. Based on my first amazing experience, I invited 5 other of my friends with family today. I am glad everyone loved the super delicious and flavorful food, great choice of vegetarian and non-veg appetizers and main course, fresh roti/naans, lassi, chai, and multiple desserts. What made everyone’s experience even better was the prompt service with a smile and great Punjabi/Bollywood music.
Believe it or not … on our request the owner agreed to move couple of tables aside, and our entire group danced to the great music. Overall, absolute “value for money” experience ! Spacious, clean venue, great spread of food, welcoming service and of course great choice of Bollywood/Punjabi music. Definitely 5-Star !! Best Indian food destination on Oak Tree Road, Edison !!
Excellent lunch buffet with good variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. Nice ambience and sitting space. Sunday lunch buffet had very good starters, main course and desserts. Had a wonderful time with family
