Good birria tacos spot. Tried the taco bowl, chips, corn dish, and birria tacos with consommé. The service was very friendly and food came out relatively fast.
My fav was the birria tacos with consommé. Very flavorful, just wish the portion size was bigger.
Parking is a bit tight so keep that in mind when parking here.

A year ago, I wondered what birria tacos are all about, but now birria obsession has taken over on Taco Tuesdays for my family and me. We are extremely glad that The Birria Kitchen has found a home in Edison. We’re happy to support a locally owned small business.
The place is cozy, clean, and easily accessible. I had called ahead to place a take out order, and Janet was very friendly.
Once we arrived there, we decided to stay and have the tacos on-site. It was the best decision because the 4 tacos were crispy, delicious, and satisfied the birria craving. There’s a nominal charge for cheese, but it’s necessary for the ‘gooey’ factor. The consommé was so rich and quite tasty, I asked for a double order, so I wouldn’t run out. The birria tacos cost $19.33 with the double portion of consommé (cash price with taxes). It definitely hit the spot, and we’ll be visiting again soon!

Birria Kitchen is absolutely amazing! The birria tacos were flavorful, juicy, and cooked to perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic Mexican flavors, and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made our visit even better. We had such a great time enjoying the food and the vibrant atmosphere. This is definitely our new go-to spot for birria!

The takeout food is hot! One of my biggest complaints about general takeout is the food is it’s cold, BUT that’s not the problem here. What is a problem is the cost of guacamole and sour cream on tacos. They cost an additional $7. Otherwise, 4 tacos with cheese cost $14.50 and that’s very reasonable.

Flavorful birria tacos and consome. Loaded burrito was tasty as well. We also got the horchata and Mexican street corn that was generously covered in cheese. Overall, they use appropriate amount of seasonings that enhanced the flavors in each item including the horchata. The consome was not thick or oily.
